Good Time To Stay Home And Read A Book( So, what are you reading???)

So, during these strange times, I've stocked up on the essentials. Books, books, and more books. I just started a new poetry book called, "Whiskey, Words, And A Shovel."By RH Sin. I also bought a very neat book called "2000 Questions
About Me" It's a kind of fill in the blanks about yourself, book. I also have about a hundred books in my stockpile to read if things get crazy So what are you reading?

I'm an unabashed bookaholic and don't intend to change. I'm currently reading a biography / history of the uncovering / discovery and exploration of central America and the Mayan ruins / civilization in the first half of the 1800s. Thank goodness for my kindle, I will never run out of new choices ( unless Amazon closes).
I really like my Kindle, but not as much as I love holding a real book with pages I can turn. In fact, I was just re-reading a great book(on my Kindle) by Micheal Pollan called The Omnivores Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals. It was a book I had to read for school, but it was so interesting I decided to give it another go. Thanks for stopping by

Back to Hemingway, Islands in the Stream, better than I expected so far from a posthumously published novel. I've plowed through a half dozen Philip Kerr novels recently with a break to read Lara Prescott's novel The Secrets We Kept about the way Boris Pasternak's Dr. Zhivago came to be published despite Soviet opposition. Kerr writes novels that interest people in my line of work. So does Prescott.

I'm still trying to learn to read between the lines. It's REALLY hard cuz there's nothing printed there!

I think I will subscribe to on line books. But, I need to finish the one actual book I started reading months ago: Blackberries are red when green.
