The Eye of the Beholder I believe that the man was formed, but the woman was fashioned. For those of you that know your bible, you will recognize the terms. Whether you believe in it or not is irrelevant. Those two words are subtle but different. Formed and Fashioned. The first means to build. To make. In the utilitarian sense. The latter implies artistic touch. That care was taken in the visual aspects. I deeply believe this was by design. Why? I cannot say for certain. The way I see it, the body of the female gender warrants the appreciation only rivaled by snobby art aficionados. Even women recognize the attractiveness in each other when they have no lesbian tendencies in their bones. Men? There is no equivalent. Straight men have no attraction to other men, even when we know they are clearly appealing to other women. The face of a woman is delicate but powerful. The hair and shape of a woman’s face will wipe out the strongest of men, over and over. The shape of the curves of her body. The hourglass figure with the shapes jutting out and in and out and in and down. Wipes me out no matter how many times I see it. Naked, this artwork is a true masterpiece. It truly is a sight to be admired. Women, in all their variations, are just fucking beautiful. No reason to complicate it. It’s that simple. TRD~  "Men need to hunt. She obviously understands this. I love this post. I agree that fashioned/made are unique in the Bible story. But I also just believe that a woman (in the broad general sense) is just a beautiful creation, made to be beautiful. Made to enjoy, to use, to be used, and to be appreciated for their power and beauty. Lust is just part of the man psyche I'm afraid... and I'm eaten up with it quite often. As you say, I can be turned on my head in a second by the right view, the right smell, the right tone or voice... and you said it, and I'll amen it - women are just fucking beautiful.

You are such a prolific early bird. I basically agree with you. But, although I am a Flaming Hetero, I can admit when a guy is handsome. I can also say, I have met women, you are not attractive in any way if you just look at the exterior package.As you say it is mostly in teh eye of the beholder. But, one has to admit, there are societal delineations that do develop as to what in either gender is attractive over the ages. Although, I think that applies to women more than men. What was seen as attractive in the 1800's is different in say 1970. Also, what is seen as attractive in one culture, can vary greatly. This again is pretty true for different races. With cultures being seen more internationally because of the ability to see what others around the world are like via Television and the internet, We are becoming more homogenized in what is considered beautiful. Pat of that is dues to the marketing done my the fashion and beauty industries. I think, sexual preferences do influence to those affinity groups what is attractive. Gay and cross-dressing males certainly look at what they think as attractive differently thant strictly straight dressing and acting males. "Men need to hunt. She obviously understands this.
