His career spanned 50 years which is truly remarkable. I saw the Rolling Stones at the Live Aid concert, more than 1 billion people viewed. That's billion with a B. He is a true legend. Howling at the moon and mal ad osteo.

Yes, i was in shock! An other great artist. He did not do drug, did not smoke. And, was a great drummer. I just wondered, since his age, and other older known people died all of the sudden, if he was vaccinated....? There are a lot of older folks who did take the needle, who died not long after their last, second, third? shot.... The end of a special Rolling Stones era? I love their music, never went to a concert, though... RIP Charlie Watts

You are right davstep1000, Charlie Woods kept the Rolling Stones on time, which is what a drummer is supposed to do, keep the time. A great drummer and class act, I have seen the Stones once, 1972, Stickie Fingers Tour with Stevie Wonder as the opening act at Winterland in San Francisco, it was a great concert.

In the early 60s the music world was engulfed by a deluge of talent that would last for about 15 years. Sadly, we've reached a time when all these people who entertained us so well, are at an age where human mortality starts to bite. It has been a terrible half decade we have just endured, and so it goes on. Charlie was a gentleman of rock, rare in itself, but moreso a great musician. His loss is far greater than many will realise, but luckily for us, he has, with the other Stones members, left us a legacy to warm our spirits for years to come. R.I.P. Charlie Watts.

seen the stones 9 different times sice 1975 the show will not be same anymore . got tickets to see them 29 october in tampa stadium . could this be the last time ?
