Take A Loss To Live: What are we But particles Floating on the winds of the Universe So small-minded That we fail To ever see the big picture Instead We kill each other Because our meaningless ideas May happen to differ Meanwhile Our planet turns against us This Mother we call Earth Is gearing up To shed our existence Her temperature is climbing And in turn Her seas are rising Her weather grows stronger And yet We argue Over the color of the sky While those with the power to change Can't see past the dollar signs in their eyes So make no mistake Their corporate greed alone Will be the reason All of humanity dies Eventually ~unnaturalmind  "Men need to hunt. My rabid environmentalist brother goes on about saving the planet, so I asked him; How many trees have you planted in your life? 3? only 3? Every property I have ever owned is covered in trees, the old farm 5,000 trees over 12 years, the old mountain place, 1,200 trees. Current small lot; 12 trees, 26 bushes, bee friendly drought resistant flowers and small shrubs. When I was in school, long, long time ago, we were told people would starve to death by the 70's, panic has been played over and over for 50 years now. When Mnt St Helens blew I was in eSwatini, living in the middle of no where, high on a mountain top. The dust cloud caused hail storms that far away, 3 feet of small hail in our yard, 30 miles south, bowling ball hail that killed many. Do what you can and enjoy life.

So very true! although this earth which belongs to everything in life as we know it is constantly thawing! the Ice age is from past days as we thaw who knows what tomorrow brings. Live in the moment each day! Lay back and enjoy!

exactly! What are we doing, on a personal level? ( there is A LOT you, personally can do) Also, all those big corperations,Esso, Shell, you name it, just going on, with poluting the planet... Dollar signs, indeed. Great writing!
