Begging I like to beg. To ask and say please. I like it when he indulges me with little things that make my toes curl and my heart smile. But I like it, even more, when he says no, sometimes. Because it makes the indulgences that much sweeter, and well…it makes me feel safe. Knowing he won’t be swayed from his decisions, his rules. Knowing where the boundaries are. I need the rules. Even if he says NO. Give him a little nudge. A gentle but heartfelt nudge. Testing the boundaries is part of the never ending learning experience. Nudge lightly but always from the heart.
