The Sun Is Coming Up.... “I miss the sound of your voice” There’s something inside the anatomy of the soul, some tone that we can all replicate, the excitement we feel when we finally see someone or hear from them after so long. I know you told me to be safe, and I am. I guess it gets a little bit lonely. It’s the strangest thing. Isn’t it? Having people to talk to, but not always wanting to talk to them. Having people to be around, but not always wanting to be around people. I’ve been thinking about myself, and I had a fascinating thought about our emotions and memories of one another. I realize that my thoughts are a wild series of an apartment inside, of another apartment. Sometimes I have to split myself into many pieces, each living and breathing, all me, peeking out of the window into another set of myself—a watcher of watchers. There’s something intimate about watching yourself behave. What a beautifully torn creature, full of ideas and denials, happiness and rage, sadness and longing. Full of myself and empty at the same time— There’s something beautiful about the way we craft our mannerisms to fit in or to stand out Maybe, it’s a hypersensitive need for someone to love us openly, freely, and genuinely, or to tell them to stay the fuck away. Either I’m weird enough for you to love me or weird enough for you to stay out of my way. Either way, being me is all I’ve known, so I guess when I say “I miss the sound of your voice” it probably just means that I miss that piece of myself that laughed when I didn’t need to and smiled when I didn’t need to. I just felt like it. It was never forced. It was natural just to be alive. All of that spark in my eyes. That fire in my belly— I miss that part of myself too. ~M "Men need to hunt. She obviously understands this. She’s offering herself as prey. Not easy prey. But willing.” |

I meant voice, not vice in my first comment on this post. But your vices may put a smile on my face too! I ordered two pieces of art today. Prints, not originals. One a Rembrandt and the other is a Georges Seurat. I saw your comment back on the one where I made the vice typo. Would love to hear our voice. "One Big Sky Covers Us All Equally"

As we journey through life, we inevitably encounter the bitter reality of loss. As we age, we begin to lose people from our lives, and although some departures may go unnoticed, others leave us with a profound sense of emptiness. It is in those moments that we realize the true value of those we have lost, and we yearn for their presence once again. The void left in our souls by their absence cannot be filled by any amount of time or any other person, for they were unique and irreplaceable. We are left to cherish the memories we have of them and to honor their legacies by living our own lives to the fullest. I enjoy your BLOGS, and the depth that they offer on the subjects you share here. I'm also a BIG fan of your occasional musical style or genre that you offer periodically, and appreciate the messages they convey when you offer them for one to partake in playing/listening to the songs you've chosen. The one thing stated in what I wrote yesterday, even though it was a part of Robin's line, "You know, you're very BEAUTIFUL.", I meant. Not an indictment of the physical aspects of your being (although, I FAIRLY certain of that being true, as well!), but more about the you that's revealed in your writings here in these BLOGS. And, I'm sure you're WELL aware of those that read your BLOGS and feel this way about you, as it's regularly expressed in the comments, so, I know I'm not telling you anything you didn't already know. You're very eloquent in your writing, and I'm quite sure that eloquence shows in all manners of your being. I'm sorry for the loss you feel, and that there's nothing that I can say or do to assuage that 'anguish' you feel, I can't say that I know exactly what you're feeling, but I can say that I've felt "LOSS" in many and various ways in my own life, and have sought comfort in others to try and come to term with that 'emptiness'...

True intimacy isn't being touched physically, but instead is one that causes a flame to burn in your soul. I've found others that can touch . . But none, that know how to build that damn fire. "Men need to hunt. She obviously understands this. She’s offering herself as prey. Not easy prey. But willing.”

"You know, you're very beautiful. You're also very quiet. And I'm not used to women being that quiet unless they're medicated. Normally I meet women who talk so much you could hook them up to a wind turbine and they could power a small New Hampshire town. You know, sometimes you got to specifically go out of your way to get into trouble. It’s called fun. What’s that? Come on. Take some chances once in a while! That’s what life’s all about.” Sometimes it's nice to be able to recall memories that brought GREAT joy to our lives, and to be thankful that we have them to remember... "Men need to hunt.
