Possible, but extremely rare. Plus the odds the person is serious, stable and worthwhile are starting to approach lightning strike probability. Might be smarter to buy a lottery ticket than spend any money here. Years ago this was not the case, but times change.

There are people out there who actually meet and end up being a hell of a lot of fun and those who just hang online just being careful and selective is not a bad thing

I have met people from alt, but it was far easier years ago. Now, I hardly ever see anyone real online in my area.

Let's try this again. alt seems to have swallowed up my first comment. I have met people from alt, but that was mostly several years ago. These days, alt is cluttered with fakes, so it is exceedingly difficult to find a real person through alt in my area.
