Fight like cats and dogs in public (with no name calling, but reasoned arguments) , but hammer shit out and COOPERATE/COMPROMISE in private, work out legislation, approve it in committee, get it on the floor AND BOTH OF THEM FIGHT FOR IT ON EITHER SIDE. Working for the American people first! J Randy Forbes (my federal rep), and willfully ignorant folks like that, wanted good things - sometimes - but took their ball and went home because compromise was a four letter word. My way or the hiway. This is a Regan and Gingrich strategy. A failed strategy, but WTF ever.... Let me digress. Compromise eventually allowed nigge...black folks to vote. Cunt...women too. Then non-land holding people. This started in the early 1700s and ended (kinda) in 1964. It still isn't all there today because them God damn nigge...poor democrats want to vote, but repubs can't win if they do. Fucking cracker...poor people. My 15 year old doesn't have to work. I get paid in currency and not company script. I only work work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. A living wage with 1 parent working and 1 parent raising the children (wait, that ended with my parents in the 80s - Regan/Gingrich again) . All these gains are through unions forcing compromise. W was so glad and excited when he met the retired lady that worked three jobs to make ends meet. Thought she was going to orgasm instead of punch him in his fucking smug face. Nothing really changes, it just morphs. Back to compromis...common ground. On common ground, everybody gets to blame the other mother fucker and nothing gets done. The J Randy Fobes' problem. I call this "I got mine, fuck you!" This isn't compromise! Yes, in compromise, left works with right. As shole works with as shole. Moron works with moron. They (congress, administration and judicial branches) work for the American people. THAT'S compromise. Anything else is just jerking off and should be publicly pointed out as such! BTW, I've tried pointing it out and the repubs don't seem to care...... The trumpettes care even less!?! As of today, SCOTUS works for the repubs. Congress works for the corporations (thanks to numerous SCOTUS decisions). POTUS is all that is left for the people and does not (no matter what faux noise thinks) has any power to do much of anything except spend the money and make regulations that congress tells it to..... Civics 101 (it's amazing how many folks have no fucking clue!!! This includes the as sholes at faux news who just spread lies and propaganda. Same with MSNBC.) We the people are screwed! The Trump tax credits for the lower and middle class sunsetted while the upper class tax credits did not. I GOT MINE, FUCK YOU!. trumps words hot mine! Drain the swamp? Ahhh, no..... just another Trump lie. Not that the dems are ball-les...blameless.... but pointing fingers at weak dems serves no purpose as they are not as hypocritical as repubs. Small business needs less regulation but women need to prove that they are NOT pregnant before they leave the state. If they are pregnant, they need to prove that they are still pregnant when they get back. Yes, the hypocrisy is just two-faced with repubs. Obvious, disgusting..... Now, to political debate. Name calling isn't debate. Name calling just means you have no argument against what was proposed and argued for. You've just lost! Period. No debate there. You've lost plain and simple! Willfully ignorant or a trumpette .... or both? What is an argument? A solid assumption base, a logical construction of data, and conclusions supported by the assumptions and the logic. Now, the argument can fail at any point. Be prepared to be ridiculed if you fail at any point. Bad assumption but peerless logic? Ridicule. Good assumptions but bad logic? Ridicule. Conclusions not supported by logic or assumptions? Ridicule. However, if you can get all right, then we can talk! If you are just going to name call me, ridicule. I have no problem pointing out your willful ignorance. I am not name calling, but pointing out your flaw. Ultimately, I do not see the opposition as my enemy that must be vanquished. Neither did Orin and Ted. Yet, repubs see me that way. That is why they name call. I don't name call Trump. He is orange and a fascist. By definition. He's still not my enemy to be vanquished. I just shake my head at those poor folks who name call me and i try to educate them on how their government works, what it says in the Constitution, bill of rights, and declaration of independence. Education is better than name calling. But what do I know, I'm a libtard nazi communist... Yes, I've been called that..... Google those terms to see the absurdity. Either have a good argument as defined here and in numerous text books, or be prepared for ridicule and don't be surprised when I do!

So many words to say so little. I guess you just think winning a debate means just put as many words as you can on a page. Just like a high school student writing a term paper. How infantile. I will keep it short. You just have to look at these metrics to show Trump was a far better president Biden. Not even close. - Mortgage Rates - Gas Prices - Inflation - Crime - Illegal immigration - 401Ks - Rent - Utility Bills I can go on, but these 8 issues are enough to put mean tweets back in. Joe is just flat out incompetent. Period. If he keeps making bad decisions, the country will continue downhill. I predict he will. It is a common theme with liberals, destroy the country and call it a new normal. Call it progress. Call it woke. It is just disgusting. In the meantime, enjoy your unaffordable housing, electricity, food, water, and transportation costs. You can thank Joe Biden.

I agree with most of what you propose. Understand, the electoral college gives say to less populated states. It gives each state a say. Without it the 4 more populated states would control the politics for all 50 states. So why be in a union if 4 states have all the say? Know your history: the house was for the rabble (Hamilton's words). The senate was for the states. POTUS was for the land-holding gentry (read as rich). Well, the 1780s are gone. It is 2023. The electoral college is against the constitution amendment of (paraphrase and sentiment in 2023) one person, one vote. Our votes aren't equal. So, dude, you got yours, fuck me? If that's your attitude, I have some news: french revolution. Your head will be first! BTW, 4 states have NEVER elected a president from the popular vote. 1 state has 5+ times now...... seems fucked up to me!

No clue what you are talking about. The US isn't dead, just not going in a good direction. Trump almost caused the end, but not enough anti-dems (small d dems) to bring down the government. Each state has to fix their own election system. The federal government ISN'T in charge of those things, just sets the ground rules that states can exceed if they want: voter ID.

Here again, I have no clue what you are talking about. I took the same oath that every federal officer holder takes (I am a civil servant). This oath was estlablished back in the 1780s (forgot exact date). George Washington took the SAME oath I did: I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God. I didn't say the last sentence of course - that was added in the 1950s! I also said affirm. Washington's, Hamilton's, Jeffereson's words were quite similar if not exact (minus the stupid god thing as they were all deists). Like I said before, yes, both repubs and dems are hypocritical. Dems try to hide and don't do it very often. In general they mean what they say but each one says something different and they can't agree. Repubs on the other hand have shown over and over and over that they wear hypocracy as a badge of honor. Their strength? They all say the same, usually inane, thing! Rationality and repub do not coexist!

When I call someone willfully ignorant, they have NOT made an argument much less a reasoned argument. Most of the time they just throw personal attacks instead of reasoned debate. If you would have read and understood this post at all, you would have seen that if you can't construct a reasoned argument, then you are willfully ignorant. I then show where their "argument" fails either by logical fallacy or bad data or both. I then quote the good data and then show the appropriate logic. This is ot how reasoned debate works. Just like Hatch and Kennedy, I have tried to find consensus but instead, I just get personal attacks instead. They can't even construct a rebuttal to my argument. I have made these arguments many times. They've read them. They have no response or use shit they hear on faux noise which is just a lie and easily shown not to be a reasond argument. The worst, the take the real data and don't understand what it says. Hatch and Kennedy ALWAYS gave reasoned arguments to support their view and ALWAYS put the American people first. Trumpee and the trumpettes do nothing of the kind. He wants to be an autocrate (see Project 2024) and use the government for his own vendettas. So, your "complaint" is unwarranted and incorrect. In fact, you showed that I had it right and you didn't.
