 So, I'm not going to address the systemic racism thing. I'm not sure what the definition really is. But, we can agree the current education systems fail minority populations. It's easy to decry the systems failures. What's your proposal to put schools on a track to provide all students a top quality education? It's something that will be even more critical in the future for our country's progress and economy.

Easy to say, not so easy to implement. Who writes the standards, how are they measured? A few years ago we had a new assessment test program for statewide implementation. The biggest uproar came not from the "lefties" but from the "right" who complained it interfered with their freedom and judged their children unfairly.
