The White House requested and received a permit for 10000 people. The Parks Service estimated the number would be up to 30000. I haven’t found any actual NPS estimates but it seems your number is off by an order of magnitude. The Chief of the Capital Police said and excuse if my quote isn’t exact “Make no mistake, these mass riots were not first amendment activities” I would expect he knows more about the circumstances than you.

Mobs storming any house of politics, religion , or commerce is of no support to the US or any State constitution. Mobs by definition are a large and disorderly crowd of people especially bent on riotous or destructive action. The antithesis of law and order in all contexts. I have no leanings towards autocratic countries that just might have the word socialist in their names. You, on the other hand , love your boy tRUMP who leans to the autocratic side. I like socialist programs. Like social security, medicare or perhaps medicare for all. You know, the good, kind type of socialism that cares about the populace. Steven, There is too much that needs correcting in your reply.I just don't have the time to cover each and every issue, and really, you've already proved to me how fixed you are in your political leanings. I prefer to just agree to disagree with you as endless back and forth proves tedious. However, there are a couple of things you wrote that amused me. You said, "Now it has to be all the pressure he put on people to produce a vaccine in record time, that kind of thing has to be done by a monster." I guess this is a reference to his "successful" warp speed program you brag about from time to time. If warp speed had made any difference in vaccine development it would have not only put money into research which it did with the Moderna company, but would have developed a plan to actually be able to administer shots in arms when the vaccine finally is available. At the very least, you'd think if tRUMP was so concerned with the vaccine development, he or his underlings should have been up to date with any developments in the world. But he didn't., and you know why? Even you will agree with this. Pfizer, a multinational company that refused any research funds from warp speed was the first vaccine out a week after the Presidential election.Perhaps if tRUMP really had any interest in vaccine development, he would of learned of this and loved to announce before the election that the vaccine would be approved by the FDA in a weeks time and taken all the credit. It would have been that October surprise he so desired, but no, he was focused on the fake Hunter Biden laptop! Oh , I would of loved to see him pulling his hair out after that revelation. So, not only did he spend no time even concerned about the vaccine's development but now that its here we have very little planning for a national response to get the shots in arms. He answered this deficiency by saying its the states responsibility. No, this is an emergency and we are the UNITED states so what is needed is a federal response like any emergency requires such as floods, hurricanes, or any other like pandemics. We are not red states and blue states, we are the UNITED states, something his divisive stances makes planning difficult. Another "point' you tried to make, "Stood up to China and Russia - you know autocratic governments". Yes they are autocratic governments,but stood up to Russia, you can't be serious. I won't go into his silence about Putin's bounties on US soldiers, the recent Russian massive hacking of our entire government. So extensive we have yet to calculate the damage. No, the best example is Helsinki. Did you not see his embarrassing performance in Helsinki with Putin. When they were both on the stage and an AP reporter asked him why he doesn't believe 17 intelligence agencies that reported Russia meddled in our 2016 Presidential election to benefit of tRUMP, he answered by saying that Putin refutes this and he can't see why Putin would do it. Really, perhaps , the assessments of those 17 intelligence agencies should be part of your calculations.
