i am me and only me The sunsets on yet another day, her body is tired. chores and projects are done, but yet she pushes on. she readys the home for the night, making sure things are locked up. Here she sits and writes, this night the words do not come. she sighs heavily, she looks at her hands at the keyboard and they don't move. She looks at the blank screen wishing it would fill with magical words or any words. Finally, she gets up and walks to the middle of the room then kneels down. Her bottom resting lightly on the heels of her feet, with her legs drawn closed. She places her hand's palms down on her thigh, lower her eyes and closes them. She slows her breathing to a claiming pace, Slowly letting her body relax She allows her mind to slow down its thoughts of the day Fading away are those things she can not do today, replaces with visions of color and peaceful energy. Her mind wonders of things unknown and feelings long forgotten She listens to the sounds of those things around her in time with each other as though this moment was a performance by a grand orchestra. Time eludes her as she kneels, it is then the words come to her. She returns to her keyboard and writes, ...I am me and only me... the end |

I don't encounter many versed in the ways of Kajira. Always found that discipline resonated with My basic nature. i liked the writing, both style and content. Especially the ending words. You did connect to your inner self and found the truth simple and yet profound. Well done..
