Dragons tongue, Pt X a romance novel.

The evening was getting on now with the sun nearing the horizon and they commented on how beautiful and unspoiled this place was, then they built a drift wood fire in a hole they made in the sand and brought the metal grill from the "ship" (as Shona now referred to it) to place over the coals of the fire to cook the fish on. Bree was in her element here as she often did the same when out with her father. She had grown accustomed to the lifestyle. They returned to the boat now and used the onboard pump attached to the fresh water tank to wash themselves on the front deck. Bree helped Shona straighten out her hair with a comb before they found some clean clothes to put on then they finished preparing the meal. Bree said."It looks like we will have to stay here overnight, I don't want to negotiate those tight channels back in the dark ." " There's some blankets in there so we should be all right!," "That's fine with me, we can continue searching for the treasure in the morning." Shona replied as she put some of the fish in her mouth. "This fish is really lovely too!" She said. They enjoyed watching the sun go down sending colours across the lake that was now still and quiet with the occasional fish breaking the surface.

A shared fantasy perhaps? Me too I can't read books. Just as well I don't edit them. I'd throw the whole fuckin thing in the trash. I found one book that really struck a cord with me, the writing style was really something I liked in places and eventually I will adopt it more here if I can evolve my skills a bit. Shona is greatly missing out here. I have not made her shine yet. I'm kind of pissed about that and I have to try harder to bring her alive. You are a gem for your encouragement. Thank you!

Thank you sir. It's true I have only a vague concept of the future of this book. I see you have much great common sense in regards to how the story should naturally unfold. Maybe the most crushing part waits till the last sentence. Actually I was careful when describing how the rigging tapped on the metal mast that woke Shona. Of course there's only one rope on a sailing ship and that's attached to the bell. Maybe an anchor rope as well. A lot here is real. The location is one I've been to. It was very surreal when a friend and I first arrived there. Not a sound anywhere or sight of any other human. You can travel from it to where it meets the ocean as I remember. We're going out on to the ocean in my story. There was a character in the book I mentioned named Gomez I think. A really straight and susceptible type whom they duped for a little fun on a dating thing.(people played these games well before the internet), but I thought I could borrow him for another role and try to create the same dry wit in my story. Sensing the character and style of an author is one way to create parameters that you would then try to stay between. Kind of a safety mechanism. Like you say the way Hollywood fucks things up is abysmal, one of my most favourite books is Jaws. I don't have it here but what a lesson on how to write. The movie too had moments of brilliance. Old Quint was such a masterful touch and received raved praise by the critics. So we're actually on a pretty even keel in regards to writing so now there's nothing to stop you from writing your own story. You also have some first hand knowledge of some peril as you mention. I often wonder about how someone rebuilds there life upon getting out of jail. I somehow find it thrilling to maybe break out and survive by your wits.Another great movie Rambo first blood, has spectacular moments like plunging from that cliff face into the trees. Okay, I'm sure you will take up the challenge and write and enjoy every minute of it! You will quickly become absorbed and transformed I'm sure. You will find peaceful locations to write from and see the World in a different way. A secret shared by writers will become known to you. Your psychic abilities will sky rocket and your love of art will take on new meanings. You obviously love art. You should even go to dance classes. Dance is extremely liberating for the soul and body. So many great music videos with dance in them. I love that Bat for Lashes song vid called Daniel. The small snippets of dance moves. I often pause it at my favourite spots.
