There was steampunks. But that didn't explain my fury. I knew somehow that steampunkage was written into my DNA in a twisted way that had me peering through brass encased lenses that took my mind places. The apocalypse did strange things to your perception. Gross images of the constructs of a previous age now littered the forest and now wore the scars of time. It was time that drew its breath now as it considered the many ways it could form the wonders that polluted the landscape. Even the rich chemical and mineral full air stacked molecules onto each other to form irregular structures. I dreamed about these things as I slept and in the morning I welcomed the glint of sunlight that peered through the foggy landscape. I was once branded a lover of hate and destruction. I hoped everyone else here had a way to find their own motivation that would bring out their best. There was some serious competition here now and well muscled and tattooed ones appeared through the fog like apparitions. Of course they were just here to play ball. Imagine my surprise when I found out that my opinion actually mattered! |
