Rizzoli put on her old pants, and the "bunny killer" waited. With the disappearance of so many males and the mutilated carcasses found in the forest Jane Rizzoli put on her old dark pants and crept into the forest. The "bunny killer" liked a challenge and was perfectly at home in the dark forest. He was as intrigued as anyone about the murders and he listened intently for anything unusual. There were old tales probably just gossip about a creature said to live in the forest that stalked males then devoured them. He thought he'd glimpsed the creature too and It disappeared right before his eyes like magic. He was now stalking it feeling the same primal urges that surfaced in him when he hunted bunnies. He climbed a bushy oak that would give him an advantage and he thought he could detect something cautiously sliding upon the ground. He checked to make sure his blades were in place as a cold shudder crept along his spine. Rizzoli too tested her sights in the dim moonlight to get her eye in. She was now the hunter, transitioning into a primal state that most had lost or didn't know they had. Just then an approaching train could be heard. It was the distraction she needed to make a break across the clearing. But then in the moonlight a towering figure took shape and Jane thought it must be a sasquatch that had made this place its home. Imagine my surprise when I found out that my opinion actually mattered! |

A powerful beam of light from the train pieced the darkness. Imagine my surprise when I found out that my opinion actually mattered!

Being from the PA hills, I knew that sasquatch was out there somewhere. Thank goodness Jane Rizzoli was smart enough to watch and wait.
