The omminous sky just hung there, and every second brought...

the promised doom closer. Well the vid came with a warning and no doubt it was clickbait.
Or if I did watch it, then what?
A snatch and grab perhaps? A band of hookers revolting?
A hood of pickpockets seen exiting the city with their pockets full?
Or simply the traffic which some point to as having no easy way to fix it.
I'd been looking at property prices and found some real bargains , on paper anyway as it wasn't till I went there that I'd find a highway or something, even a prison that spoils it.
A mass population splurge is predicted there as people from the south are looking for somewhere warmer.
A casual 200,000 from the sth and that much again from International migration.
The small city may not be able to cope, and it will surely 'bust' in some way.
There's a youth crime wave and defenders are secreting weapons.
Yes there was much you could be warned about and maybe just not travel there at all.
The possibilities of hidden threats in this place were everywhere.
Maybe an unexploded bomb was found in a construction site, or activists would let your tyres down.
You had to keep your eyes peeled ! Starbucks put their coffee prices up!
China set up one of their international<b> police </font></b>stations there to keep an eye on you.
Why don't I just watch the clickbait and find out exactly what the problem was?
All two and a half hours of it!
Because I've really never liked cities. I'd be more at home somewhere inland where I can only hear Kookaburras in the morning.
Where sleepy kangaroos lay under a bush and slap their complacent tales in the dust.
Oh man that sky is good though.
It sets the place apart from the northern vistas in cold places.
Maybe monument valley is equally as good.
And sequoia NP with giant redwoods would be something to see.
Yes that seems way more appealing than iust busy roads and imprisoning concrete.
But if you do find an impressive lump of redwood don't just leave it there.
The mind boggles at what you could make out of it.
