"Here we have 'harpoon girl' ,you like that?"

I was browsing the Invent a past catalogue, deciding what elements suited me.
They strongly urged me to go to 'Middle Earth' as that was where the most emulsive experience lay.
But it really was stretching my budget, and maybe the cheaper option suited me better right now.
I'd given a brief explanation about what I'd done, or better what I hadn't done.
No weddings or funerals , or anything that made life pop.
I was perfect for invent a past and even thought I should be offered there services for free to compensate for how woefully the real Earth let me down.
It sure started promising, but I drifted off into the wilderness and found solace with what lived there.
I did like music though and once I have that my expectations grow and I could become deluded enough to believe that Earth had all the things I expected to have from life.
Grandiose things, ceremonies and to do with both ends of the life spectrum.
Canon in D especially and handfuls of rose petals tossed along the path.
That was how life was meant to be, just follow the rose petals and you'll be right.
There was also the issue of withdrawals as you could easily wind up thinking everything was good only to re-emerge into the real World again to find it all sucked.
I guess that's why I liked the harpoon girl, even death and the thrill of (johnney Utah adventures) ticked all the boxes of the short but sweet adventure life should be.
I wanted to be at my own funeral as an observer too, and Middle Earth could accommodate that too and the Priest would reel off an amazing amount of accolades that put me in my own class of achievers.
And yes somehow I'd rode the wild rapids of women, the roller coaster of emotional predicaments, with ease.
But in real life I'd become cynical, watching Al Bundy's unadventurous sarcasm and obtuse fight against the all conquering fems that made men hide and wear "No mam" tee shirts.
We would right that ship when we came to it.
I'd get the canon in D that I wanted and just leave it at that.

Imagine my surprise when I found out that my opinion actually mattered!

Maybe I should get the Al Bundy thing washed permanently out of my memory.

Imagine my surprise when I found out that my opinion actually mattered!

I have not tried that dream, will it make my short attention span disorder shorter?
