Healing ! Being truly free is the highest gift I know off. And traveling to remote places to meditate and to extend myself mentally is a coming of age for me. A sense of arriving to my destiny. A road traveled alone can do that. I like that the higher state of mind does not operate on there having to be a God. You may feel a oneness with the guiding hand of a creator, and the proof is that you do exist and have channeled into that higher place. It goes beyond the idle promises given by most religions ! The meditation masters fully awaken the mind, and that is proven and they have the highest brain activity. It opens the minds energy portals to freely exchange your thoughts with everything that surrounds you. Happy thoughts touch deeply in your soul !!!! This is the way out for people trapped by ill-intentioned controllers. Wicked regimes will crumble when that awakening happens ! It is our destiny to achieve that. And we do ! It is the true way the future unfolds !!       Imagine my surprise when I found out that my opinion actually mattered!  |

I like that the higher state of mind does not operate on there having to be a God. I was raised in an indigenous family without a religion, god, or all of the god-based holidays. We didn't celebrate birthdays. I began meditating daily after being in vietnam. I don't find that it casts off any demons, but demons aren't something I believe in. The same with "enlightenment", since I'm not sure I would know enlightenment if I found it.

It reminds me of a well known crime investigator uncommon who says you don't try to make the evidence fit the crime. You let the evidence speak for itself and just follow that. If it leads to enlightenment then great. To me enlightenment is the way the Buddha treads carefully, careful to not squash an insect with his toes. I was enjoying my cuppa on the porch and a small copper toned reptile came out from its hiding place to enjoy the warming sun. I counted it toes and fingers. Ten in all, we shared a common link way back in time. It made me feel good noticing that !!! Imagine my surprise when I found out that my opinion actually mattered!
