You hit upon something that I've wondered about in my experiences: going slowly.

That was never something we consciously did whenever we attempted anal. It felt suffocating and rushed and took a while for me to feel something other than pain. I've always been interested and would initiate it, but it very rarely gave me the orgasm I'd hoped for. I thought I had unrealistic expectations, but I've since experimented anally with a smaller plug and, well I'm interested again.

 I wonder how many women actually want anal sex. I have never been asked to do it and it is certainly not something I'd initiate, but you'd think a degree of lubrication would be essential, wouldn't you?

I have wanted to enjoy anal, and had even asked for it. But in our inexperience, it wasn't always pleasurable; I'd asked around and was told by a good friend that anal was enjoyable, but I would need to be prepared and needed to talk to my partner about it. Unfortunately, I didn't really voice myself and we had decided not to pursue it. But I'm finding myself intrigued again and wanting to explore, even if it's on my own.
