Her Point Of View
He lives in my home town and from my house to his it is 970 miles, map apps say that it will take 14 hours and 21 minutes to drive, to fly to his small town is cost prohibitive. We are both self-employed and just getting our respective businesses off the ground.

I have always regretted leaving my hometown and am more homesick than ever, because now he is there. He moved there after I left, but I have to wonder have we crossed paths in the grocery store or at a gas station during my frequent visits home?

All I know, is he is now, always on my mind. The thought of writing to him or completing little tasks for him makes me wet.. Wetter than I have ever been! His voice on the phone soothes me in one way and makes me want more in another.

His heart seems full of understanding, he is quiet in his power, he listens and together as we talk the miles seem to slip away and at the same time the distance seems to deepen.

No help for it, I don't care if the blizzard of the century hits the plains, I will drive those miles over Thanksgiving, in true country girl fashion.. Just see if I don't!!

 It will the fastest and 'slickest' 14 hours and 21 minutes of your life! Just make sure your car is ready with good tires, properly inflated, oil level checked, and windshield fluid topped off.
Nice to see others connecting through this site.
