I’ve had the same scam a few times except it was hangouts.

The site owners, I think just view the members as either a supply of cash or that we are dumb. But I do find that a good many of the bloggers are good decent people. "One Big Sky Covers Us All Equally"

Hangout and KIK as well as your phone can include location information and they will use anything to gain an advantage... the scamming issue is a huge problem for the serious people here wanting to use the platform what it's original intention was... the owners don't care in fact I believe they promote the scammers... and I have even questioned whether they are not generating some of them themselves... preying on the greed and hopes of lust and emotions is an old con... if you simply open you eyes objectively they are very easy to spot... key clues... pictures are usual one and it looks professional... they all have phones w/a camera that is broken... they change locations frequently... their area code does not match the address... and they always ask "How's it going" WTF... for us men it is the age that always gives them away... just to name a few clues... they are like mosquitoes on a humid south eastern day in summer... you need to just go into a shelter and jack or Jill off... no luck hunting today!!! LOL hope this helps...

Yes too many scammers on Alt!! Good morning Miss Slynxy, i saw you on "keyholding group" with Miss Theresa and we talked together for a moment. But you left so quickly because you had received a message. I wanted to tell you that you will always be welcome. This week Miss Jess orders me to show off with my humble. in response to Buckeye they are looking for PayPal cash... Western Union cash... amazon cards are easiest b/c they do not have to give an address or actually pick it up... you buy a card and send a number on the card... spend spend spend... they can also send malware to steal your info from that device and emails... that is the higher level of the organized groups... be stealth be off grid be burner there are apps that will allow you to do all this... good luck and be very careful if you have anything to lose!!!

If you engage them in conversation because they are located near you, at some point you'll find out that they have magically been transported to the other side of the continent and are in the hands of unscrupulous landlords or car repair shop owners who want their back rent or other payment before they can leave and join you. Gotta love it. Is this a great site or what?

It’s almost become a sport, sorting the wheat from the chaff but once in while you come across a nugget that makes the effort all worth while. After all the sifting through the mud it’s peculiar how that little nugget can just pop up out of the blue and present itself. Offering up a k1 k to just dig that little deeper has never been a concern and then let time be the judge.

It is extremely hard to sort through all the scammers here on this site, but it can be done, I think. The easiest way I have found to expose them is to offer to come get them at my own expense. That usually sends them running. There are some who have such a backing that they think they can get you to their turf and then extort cash from you since you already came all that way. They sure don't know about us Texans and our tendency to own have and use guns.

80% of the profiles are scammers or hookers. It is such a shame to see this site go bad!

Well I just ate My own words, never ever been too concerned about k1k in the past but recently added antivirus to My mobile for a free trial period. Nothing had been identified as a problem during the monthly trial up until today. A chat with a "sub" here on alt IM led to chat on K1k because IM was totally f*cking up. Not unsusual I know !! The chat on k1k had virtually sent My mobile antivirus into orbit, with so many phishing alerts and website blocks following the offer of a single photo from said "sub". Fortunately I had not saved the photo and the antivirus blocked everything. First time this has happened to Me and I am normally very vigilant, to the point where I was about to cancel the antivirus on trial. Needless to say Im leaving it on the phone and has taught Me a big big lesson. Many dont often think of antivirus on the mobile and if you are one of those people I would recommend that you consider it. I hereby eat My words and back to you slynxy, hardly "stupid" at all...

Just had a thought, the use of K1k as an alternative to IMC has become very common. Now wondering if its IMC being sabotaged by scammers in order to push chat off site..... Who knows ? certainly not the site owners !!!
