Are blowjobs the new uber side hussle?

What?.. you wanted me to talk more about sex.

So yeah certain candidates are in favor of legalizing sex work..notably bernie and liz warren.

Why? The article really didnt state a reason but no doubt it is to bring it out of the back alleyways to make it " safer".
Like they do in Amsterdam.

If this is the only reason then why dont we also legalise drugs. Wouldnt that make it safer for the dealer and the ? Make them register and get licenses..let them set up a shop on main street.
Hell in some cities they set up special rooms where heroin uses can shoot up legally and then be monitored by medical staff.

Dont get me wrong im not against an adult person making money from sexual favors. I mean why should only rich white nfl owners have all the fun.

It could honestly be the next uber...low on rent?..need to pay on that student loan?...try sucking a dick for dollars.

The real problem is ( whether legal or not) isnt " safe"..
You can dress the issue up and put the sex worker in a nice booth on main street..
But we still are talking about unknown and the exchange of body fluids.

Lets be honest condoms arent full proof...get fucked multiple times and yes you will end up with a spectrum of diseases.

Why any government would encourage this behavior is beyound me.

Second like weed it is a cash grab. The government thinks it is easy money selling licenses and permits..
And lets not forget heavily taxing the johns.

The problem though is your encouraging people to either start using the product or becoming the product.

I dont smoke weed, nor have i ever visited a .
Legalize both and yeah the numbers are gonna skyrocket.

Unlike weed though it doesnt take any skill or cost/ investment to sell sexual favors..

Why pay the legal sex worker their high fee, plus heavy taxes etc..
When the non legal sex worker next door will blow you for twenty bucks.

Its the same way with weed..the win fall in Colorado will dry up when the idiot states boardering them legalize pot.

And lets be honest i dont objectify women. But if your now selling your va-jj for money..
Your objectifying yourself.
You are now literally a#$%& for sale
You'd think a candidate whose party is made up of female voters would avoid this topic

Nothing new here. Prostitution is already legal in most counties in Nevada (except the cities of Reno and Las Vegas. gotta head out to the desert). Regulated and taxed. Been legal long before Amsterdam.

Is unpaid sex with a stranger any more “safe” than that which is paid for?

Your argument that the government (or anyone else) shouldn’t condone/encourage prostitution on that basis falls short unless you also support a ban on sex between strangers without any monetary exchange...

The senators are making the point that sex work will be safer if made legal.

I said they can put lipstick on a pig..but its still a pig.
The very sexual nature of business makes it unsafe.

Putting a prostitute in a fancy shop doesnt negate the risk that she is getting fucked multiple times by complete strangers.
Making it legal also means more men will use the product and more women will become the product.

And honestly if your selling your vagina for money do you really think women are gonna register, pay fees,be regulated..
And give uncle sam a cut of their action..

Hell no.. women are gonna do it under the table

I assume you have no objection to porn ? Which is basically the same principle as prostitution .... both get paid for having sex with strangers yet only one is legal.
Nothing in life is risk free but to be anti helping women and men be safer in that line of work is mind boggling.

As for your comment " they can put lipstick on a pig..but its still a pig "
You do realise that you are talking about human beings ... judgemental much !
And aren't you just so fucking blessed to never had found yourself in a position where you felt to sell yourself was your only option. Yes, you must have a mighty nice view on that high horse

Also, it costs a whole lot to sell sexual favours .... but you'd need an iq higher than a soggy flip flop to understand that.
And no, i haven't done that line of work myself ..... i simply believe that those that do deserve better treatment than what they're getting.

If you thought of it as a white, male dominated line of work you'd be screaming from the roof tops that they should be helped to make things safer for them.

Misslady wood...

It's kinda bad to make assumptions about people based on gender or race. Yes i have been that poor. I have sold blood plasma to get by. I did work a retail job while trying to pay back my student loan.

And yep if there were no fear of contracting hiv, stds id most likely suck a dick for 10 bucks a blow.. sure beats what im doing for a living now.

My point is certain candidates are treating this issue like its something empowering for women.
When in fact its akin to working in a coal mine...sure its regulated but that doesnt mean it isnt a dangerious profession.

The change in the legal status will mean more men using the product and more women becoming the product.
Which in turn will increase the fuck out of stds, hiv etc.

What protection can bernie or liz give these women? It isnt safe..moving it from the back alleys to main street doesnt change the fact that your objectifying women.

And yes this will directly affect poor women looking to put food on the table.

So how is this policy good for anyone?

And yes making porn is a dangerious profession..but so is construction.
Atleast these actors are screened for stds and there is no chance of them being -aped,assaulted or murdered.
The number of male actors employeed by porn studios is low..noone cares if you use the same dude over and over.
This lessens the chance of a woman catching a life changing disease like herpies

Why do you assume that making it legal wouldn't help ?
From Reuters online
"Nations have been divided over the best way to deal with prostitution. Many outlaw it; some, including Canada and Sweden, punish clients and others, like Germany and New Zealand, legalized it or decriminalized it entirely.
Now an international team of researchers have analyzed the effects of different laws on sex workers, in what they say was the first review of its kind, and found repressive polices increased health and safety risks. "

And it has nothing to do with objectifying woman !!!!!! It's about helping them. Throwing that comment in to try to validate your argument is just silly yet not unexpected.

And to which assumption are you referring to ? The one i made that you haven't worked as a prostitute ?
Well in response to that
1; my assumption was correct and
2; i came about that assumption based on the degrading way you spoke about sex workers, your lack of knowledge of the help legalizing prostitution can do and your total lack of empathy.
Sorry to disappoint you but it had nothing to do with your gender or race just your blatent ignorance
