The crap made in china..the d washer edition

So yeah about a year ago i bought a new whirlpool diswasher.

Not top of the line but also wasnt cheap.

A year and two days into it...the dishwasher stop working.
Just out of the warrenty😠

The lady at whirlpool was nice enough to do me a solid and gave me a one time freebie..she entended the warrenty and sent a tech over.

Dude boy replaced the motor and pump...the part alone cost 200 bucks..

I shouldnt bitch..i got it for free..but omg...the unit was only a year old and that is a major component..

4 months go by and the d washer goes down again..same problem

I called whirlpool again...again they did a solid and gave me a freebie extension on the warrenty

Dude boy tech came over and said he wants to replace the pump, motor and now motherboard??,

Huh?.. either the tech is high...an idiot or these appliances are now junk.

I work for a small company where we sell widgets..brand new machines with 20 hrs on them are coming back..
The problem...wait for it..

Motherboards..bad motherboards..

Seems like buying an appliance is a gamble

Actually no I wouldnt..

But great brands like whirlpool are basically junk now

You could pay more and buy a Maytag or Kitchen Aid brand . .
But guess who they're made by, Whirlpool.

Some others and us had them do the same thing, i think the board is on a self destruct timer.
