Come to jesus meeting at work

Had a come to jesus meeting with my boss...he wanted to " discuss" something with me..

So apparently our vendor's driver is some kind of drama queen. This dude went back to his boss and said i was...

Harsh or perhaps confortational?..with this driver

??? Harsh.
..i was having a conversation with him about the inventory...( and by conversation i mean just that..noone was threatened,no voices were raised. He told me his side ( something i didnt know).. i said his boss need to contact mark..his regional manager. Mark was here last week and said we could do it that way

Hell the way this driver told it you'd think i put a boot up his ass and broke it off.

I had a run in with this guy before and he is a total gen x,y,z? Stereotype..quick to run to any authority figure with the slightest micro agrression. Dude needs to nut up.

Now my boss and lil boss are seated across your boy at the table and they have me in the cross hairs in this meeting

But im not in a great mood to begin with..my sinuses are dry AF...and my brief flare up with lupus is going on. So i have a<b> butterfly </font></b>rash on my face...

So im not a happy camper.

The boss said part of the problem is that i have a back east mentality..lil boss said everything to me is black or white.
He mentions they had phone calls about me before.

I almost fucking laughted. I almost did..

If i had real balls i would have stood up.. removed the company key,took out the company cell phone,returned the company credit card...

And quit on the spot

Yeah really that is the thin thread that dangles between them ..

And me.

These 16yr have worn me mentally thin.

And every day i wonder why am i still working here.

You'd think wow dude do you work for a big corp..like fed ex,ups

Nope..a mom and pop..without health care or benefits.( yeah me)

Now you might think leo really is an azzhole. He must be rude or a jerk to customers ..probably lucky he wasn't fired.

I worked for this company for 16 yrs...maybe missed 4 days sick.total...took a vacation once in 16 yrs. Im there from 730 in the morn to 5 at night.

Im an iron man... customers luv me...i know the routes,the customers,the inventory. I run safe,clean. No tickets no dot violations etc. Im a truckers wet dream.

Im an asset...i make them money..without me there would be a revolving door of drivers they would hire and eventually quit.

.yet today it was like they believed the vendor over me..despite another of our employees being present to this exchange.

I think the worse part of this talk with jesus was lil boss being stuck in a loop and restating what had already been stated. He kept going back to the whole black and white arguement..

And im thinking..OMG BRO! ..you have no clue who i am...
im not black and white..😲

Dude i worked with you for 16yrs and you dont see the " mother fucking omg grey

Yet boss and lil boss have no clue about who i am as a person outside this place.

I call the lil boss..lil boss because he reminds me of wwe triple h...lil boss was a joco baseball player for small universities.
And now he has a team and screams at 10 yr old .

Im 51 yrs old...im not a . I will not be treated in this mentality.

The problem with mom and pops is you can't just wear one hat. I deliver ..but i also x,y,z. So after a while it's like your a manager without having the title or pay.

You either care and try to manage..like i did with the vendor driver..or you throw you hand up and say..not my job and dont give a fuck.

I think the boss could tell there was a point in this discussion where your boy was not a..

Happy camper..the big boss is a great saleman

And he switched his tone...saying crap like we were on the same team and how he valued me..

And i heard the worlds slip out from my mouth..

I hope we are on the same team.

This isn't me being cocky. This is me being real.

You run a family company..yet after 16yrs you treat me like shit
