So what's the alternative to aggressive policing Well what do some police forces do in high speed chases... They back the fuck off and let the helicopters/ video take over. Then later on you arrest the dude at his house So yeah maybe it's time to usher in facial recognition software.. you know like in china..or simply chip citizens. This would be the perfect time for the government to make such a push.. Imagine if cops could make arrest just by watching videos.. hell no need for confrontations.. simply run the perps pics verses a voluntary database like face book.. You do realise facebook owns your pics..right? You do realise the government is already using the stored dna from companies like 21 and me...right? And you got your suspect..simply pick his ass up in the morning.. And yes people are this stupid to give the police this power., But hey this works in china..when is the last time you heard of a Chinese cop killing a black person.. But then again you never hear of the chinese police killing anyone... Mic drop Thank God sjw lebron james endorses the Chinese government. And he's still picking up that nike check.. Way to go you punk assed bitch Yet being totally serious for a momment...we already allow cameras at every intersection...we video tape everything.. So what is so bad with the police having facial recognition software. We already allow the police to scan and store random plates for months in hopes of catching a driver with an outstanding warrent Now this is the part where a certain alt member will remind me that i live in kc or drive for a living. You do realize to have a commerical drivers license i have to be finger printed,background check and have my birth certificate present ever time it is up for renewel. So yes the gov has my finger prints..my current pic..my address..etc..i am in a huge data base already. Fuck they would gladly jump at the chance of a dna sample if they could jack me off Imagine if the ordinary citizen had to be finger printed everytime they applied for a drivers license Imagine if the cops could just roll up on a situation..use less force...find out who was involved simply by video.. And then make arrest the next day... Funny how people balk at the idea..yet are cool with cops issuing fines from people going through red lights caught on video...with no officer being present And despite my tounge and cheek allusions to the " minority report"...your literally forcing police down that dark alley. Imagine tech taking over...your asleep in your bed and the cops show up..based soley on facial recognition software. And despite big techs big dick vow to never sell it to the police.. Someone will...and no doubt it is big tech. When rando small local police forces have the tech to scan licenses plates.. Is the rest really a tin foil hat fantasy.. Seriously give a thought to what you post on facebook..snapchat or instagram..or tic tok Your literally giving everyone your location,your info,your current pic etc.. And yes the police will have access to all of this for a price. And yes..how dumb are you for just giving this info to a website. Im really shocked at how many people pay to give their dna to a website.. And then that website has legal grounds to own your dna. |

Mic..literally dropped.. you literally paid some service to trace your hertiage., And now gave them permission to run your dna in a criminal case or to be stored in some national data base. Literally you deserve the high tech policing your ushering in

I certainly agree with the above post. In the UK the Police take 2 years to train and Police 'by the consent of the people'. Ok issues arise but generally, the Police have a high approval rating. They are trained to DEescalate not wave a gun around. Most Police are not armed. The ones that are are Specialists with specific duties.
