Lets say every health care professional in your city got the shot. They are immune to covid... Should they have to give up their ppe.... I mean i wont be able to get the shot till atleast may. I could use some freebie ppe. I doesnt make sense for them to continue to wear the n95 masks,the face shields,the gloves etc.. I meant they got the shot..right? ( but you know they will.....why? Ask yourself that...) The same way they will want you to still wear a mask after you got your shot. Mark your calendars...around march look online at hospital pics...they still will be decked out in full ppe

its just a bad flu ,,I can not understand why there are this many dumb people around ,,I know 25 who got it they are just fucking fine ,,by the way no one wants to get sick but come on enough is enough its a flu ,,an the mask dose not help you

What Shel0407 says. Plus what is honest about this question? A couple of posts back you said you'd refuse the vaccine and now you to cause a fake discussion you expect to have it in May?

You have a basic misunderstanding of infection control in healthcare settings. In ICU and infectious disease areas of any hospital, as well as many other settings, strict infection control procedures are and always have been followed to help prevent transmission of any infection to vulnerable patients not just COVID. PPE is always used. Care providers change PPE frequently. It's the shortages that have been an issue not routine wearing of PPE. OR perhaps you'd prefer your surgeon not wear a sterile gown, head covering and gloves when they cut you open.

I do not think they should give it up because we do not know if they can transfer it. Also I do not like all of them getting it first because if they all die from it in 6 months then the rest of us are lost too. So let's play devils advocate, love it

I ask my recent co-workers are you able to get up and walk to the bathroom and they were like yeah. They slept a lot but still did stuff. I am not so sure I personally want the shot.

I can only hope that if med staff do lose their PPE, that nobody turns up at the hospital with cholera.
