So the big rush to vaccinate everyone is to create a herd immunity.

Currently 10 percent of the us population has been vaccinated. Scientists think we need 50 to 70 percent to reach this goal..

So what's the problem? Where's the gotcha part that leo wants you to think outside the box?

Oh right..mutations...

Another reason for the big vax push..a herd immunity would stop mutations i'm told...( so lets just roll with this statement as truth).

Somehow 70 percent of the us pop gets vaxs and we get herd immunity in the us. Mutations magically disappear/ covid 19 disappears.

Not sure how that's possible consider millions aren't vaccinated...

But let's say it's true..biden,the cdc, fauchie, etc were right and the nightmare is over...

Or is it? Portions of the world will not have a herd immunity/ covid 19 mutations will grow. Eventually a mutation would override your current vax.

So would we have to " build a wall" to keep people from illegally entering the country. ( wait? Isnt that a racist trump tard idea? )

I mean what good is herd immunity if someone with a mutation can bypass any border patrol or screening facility..

And just walk into the us.

Just being real...what if a population gets hit hard and a portion of it's citizens head north . Lets say these caravans do go through proper procedures and applies for refugee status...and they happen to be found to have corona 19 with a new ,mutation..
Mexico will say ohhh hell no they aint staying here.

And now they are now our problem

The point of the blog is unless you close down your country and secure your borders..you will never have herd immunity. Your citizens wont be safe from corona.

This is the portion of the blog that will piss off people and i will be called x,y,z in the comments section.

I honestly believe people dont want their belief's challenged. They want that labled box of thoughts and talking points..they luv their twitter anger echo chamber

But honestly what happens if new mutations are found in central america and people flee to the us.

Are you a racist if you wish to keep these people out?

It's pathetic, when not only for safety reasons, but for personal health reasons, the only people that have a guarded wall are the ones that are so against it.

I'm no scientist, but I do believe in what is truthfully told, not sure that has been the case the past year, but with that being said, I don't have any respect for what they or the government has to say, they have misled us with the media's help for so long.

The virus will surely mutate again, it is what viruses do. Will someone who is vaccinated be immune to a mutation? Not enough information to say one way or another. Anyone who says differently is lying. Yes, there should be some level of immunity against mutations but how much? Who knows?

The whole vaccine plan is out of whack and not working. The only way to stop mutations is to have some sort of mass vaccination event worldwide. Not very likely to happen.

At the end of the day you really can't worry about it. The latest numbers show a fatality rate of 1% in developed nations and 0.3% in less developed nations. That and must viruses mutate to make themselves more contagious but less deadly. That is almost a universal among must viruses, they become less deadly but spread more over time.
