Soooo yeah...about a week ago i blogged about hitting a customer's door with the company truck..

I asked whether i should tell the boss or not considering it wasn't my fault...the employess hit the key faub and started to close the door just as i was backing inside. From my vantage point in the cab i was clueless that the door was now descending. It literally wasnt in mirror range

Hell the kid from ship & rec even said that. His manager told him to fix the door after his lunch. The kid cut off one roller and was gonna push in a panel with the fork lift

So i kept quiet..i thought we were good

Until the customer called our company about the door.

Now this was no hit and run. The manager of ship & rec told me he was gonna have the young guy fix the door. I informed the employees that i deal with that i hit the door.
The guy that signs my paperwork told me not to sweat it..the company had problems with that door the previous day. Something about the eyebeam not working correctly.

then today the customer phoned my boss..

And whereas the boss seemed like he was gonna come out a swinging on your boy...(he is the walking definition of bi polar)

I calmly sat on the barstool and laid out my case.

Maybe i should have been a lawyer...maybe i'm a social path. But at that very momment i didn't care that my job may be on the line.

Within 5 minutes.. the boss completely settled down and even a co worker was on my side.

I mean fuck me...try backing up into a building...your mirrors only go so high.
Now imagine opening the garage door..seeing it going up..you get in your vehicle...put it in reverse...check both mirrors twice..
And then fucking hit the garage door cause some dipshit hit the keyfab ( closing the door) cause it was 32 degrees out.

And then blame the driver...( and yes i backed into this building probably 40 plus times easily,.,the door normally goes up and stays up)

That is weak sauce cuz.

Maybe i honestly don't give a fuck about my job anymore..
But i'm hardly some 16 yr old brat that would just slam into a garage door..

For fucks sake i have like 400,000 miles with this mom and pops shop

That is some serious bullshit.. Even thought it does seem like the owner realizes it? If not, it sounds like you would not have a hard time finding another job... Good luck..

Well mate, have a look at your previous post on this topic, and what I wrote then. I TOLD YOU SO that this very situation was going to happen, and like a dipshit you ignored me and the others who told you to tell.

What is the point of asking a question and then not taking any notice of what your told.

I have been a boss, and I have and am a truck driver, so I know the circumstances that can arise, but NO boss wants surprises from outside his organisation. He would like to think that he can trust his employees. You have created doubt in his mind now about that.
