 I find it odd AF that tv has done a 180 when it comes to lesbian characters on tv shows.

It went from say queer as folk to even Friends or Seinfeld where lesbians were always portrayed as couples..

Forget that..responsible,caring,better parents than you sorta yuppie couples.

Turn on the tv now and you get programs like " shameless where the guy's lesbian sister is trying to hookup with his girlfriend.

Or the script for the new rebooted live action powerpuff girls for the cw..

The script actually says the girl( they are adults now) in green comes into the red girl's room and sees her in bed with a girl from the bar. The girl in red ( sorry i dont know blossum from buttercup)...says the intrusion is okay cause they just finished up..with 8 orgasms..

Not to mention cw's batwoman has more makeout,bedroom scenes than it has fighting ones.

Don't get me wrong..i have no problem with women being sexual.

But it seems like the shock value or virtual signal of a character being a lesbian isnt enough...
We now have to see it..

Its like they took scriptwriting 101 from the makers of degrassi high...
One girl comes out as a lesbian...she announces it to other girls that say..no big..
Then they show the girl that just isnt clicking with her boyfriend..
Then bamm the hookup..

Like i said im not against seeing two women making out😄... but it's like these characters have done a 180 and all common sense went out the window..

Im gay but even i would be stickershocked to walk in on anyone fucking...then just brush it off cause we need to talk..

And id have the same feelings if it was say pheobe walking into chanders apt and finding joey plowing monica or even a dude..cause they needed to talk

 Shane from the "L Word" all I have to say. Ran from 2004-2009. Although Friends and Seinfeld were funny I can't say they depicted in any relevant nature the LGBTQ lifestyle in NY.
