Hmmm just imagine if trump told the washington post what they could print in their paper. Imagine if the trump administration had the power to censor,flag,ban any news story they though spread " disinformation". People would be losing their minds...trump would be labeled a facist..a dictator..a nazi. How dare he? Yet the Biden administration did just that. They admitted they " directed" facebook to flag certain content that ran against cdc/ the administrations policy when it came to covid. And people are cool with this? So you have a sitting president admitting to censoring public discourse and the flow of information . No doubt stomping on our first amendment rights in the process. Isnt his job to up hold the constitution??? I mean he's not censoring a private company. His administration censored private citizens on a public forum. Some may argue..huh... Facebook by it's liabilty protection clause claims it doesnt have the ability to police it's own site. So info isnt supposed to be censored,flagged, banned. Ergo making it a public forum for free exchanges of ideas. Facebook isnt a company...it is website...a portal. So you have a president " directing" a publically traded company on what their content needs to be... To agree with the biden policies..and trampling over citizen's constitutional rites in the process.. Yet trump is the facist dictator leading a coup..??, And this isnt me being political..this is me being ashamed of our government.. And i wonder what facebook got in return..ole zuck has always been a slimy motherfucker.

That's what happens when you aren't the sharpest pencil in the box, today's politicians think they can do what they want. They forget that first, they work for us, the taxpayer, and second, this isn't a communist, socialist or totalitarian country.

I'm pretty sure every single president in history has asked the press to censor certain information for one reason or another. This is nothing new, and not unconstitutional. It would be illegal if they gave reprisal for giving out the information or making it illegal for that information to be spread. Also, the Supreme Court has allowed the government to limit information in the past based on the general safety of the citizens of the US. I don't know if preventing false COVID information would fall into this, but it could.

Even worse..how old is Biden and is he really that out of touch??? He actually believes social media " influencers" have any real influence over anyone.. Doesnt the biden admin realise most of those followers/ numbers are bots?? The biden admin also stressed getting to social media influencers so they could " spread the correct message" to their followers.. Er once again..do they realise noone really follows these people...there arent " sheepeople" blindly following their leader..an idiot in yoga pants with a 5th grade education Nobody gives a fuck about a 40 yr old kim kardashian who cranked out 3 kids and failed at " law" studies?? And the bs that the government can censor/ ban your constitutional rites for public safety is a trash arguement. Why not simply gun grab then? What's the real difference? Suspending the freedom of the press/ violation citizen's freedom of speech that does not put you in direct harm.. Or simply going to your house and siezing your pistol/ rifles..

Lets rehash this...a sitting president telling a publically traded company to censor it's clients. Kinda ironic that he needs a wars power act to force companies to retool. Such as forcing companies to make ventilators. So where is the act/ edict where the president has the authority to violate the constitution for public safety.. And do you really wanna go down that road?.. How do you define public safety? And what happens if trump wins again...you've shown the american public apparently is cool with social media being controlled and censored by the government. Notice how they dont say the administration advised.. The wording is " directed" facebook to flag,ban,censor anything the biden adminstration thought to even be remotely against their agenda. Under the big tent post of..omg covid and public safety. Er hilter already played that one out folks. I'd be curious to see if more than just opposing view points on vaccinations got banned. What if any conservative post was also banned? Do we really want the government to have that power?
