No matter what you think personally about the actor..

I believe his time in hollywood is over for a variety of reasons.

A prop master now retired and living in kc called the radio show and gave his 2 cents..

1. First he was shocked that none of the local 44 ( the union) were on set at the time of the shooting..
The union walked off the project due to safety concerns.

2. The executive producer...to which baldwin was one..kept filming and either used a non union propmaster or none at all. It is said the assistant directer handed baldwin the gun and said it was cold ( no live rounds).

Now it's a propmasters job/ responsibility to check, maintain, oversee any gun on set before handing it off to an actor.
And collect said gun immediately after the take has been completed..

Why? It's a real gun.

This prop master said it's rare for the crew to be in the direct fire line on any gun in a shot..

Why? Even a blank can kill you at short range.

If the actor is facing the crew with a gun drawn then the grips break out the shield/ bulletproof glass..just in case.

From what i understand baldwin wasnt acting and mearily fucking around with the gun when he shot the cinematographer and director.

So i honestly believe he should be charged with some form of criminal negligence.

Baldwin the producer hired a 24 yr old inexperienced union prop master...this is her 2nd film credit..on the cheap

And noone is saying her role in this..

It is said the assistant director ( not a prop master) handed baldwin the gun.

So there are tons of safety violations and years of protocol thrown out the window.

Baldwin the producer knew this person handing him a loaded weapon isnt a union prop master..

And then decided it would be fun to dick around with a loaded gun and aim it at the crew??

Then is suprised that the gun had live ammo in it???

Lets be honest..if bubba and his friends get drunk and start dicking around with say a shotgun..
And it fires and kills someone
Bubba is going to jail.

Why is it different that bubba is called alec baldwin.

He knew prop guns were dangerious,he knew to hire a prop master,he knew the term " gun is cold"..

And he knew the ass. Director handed him the weapon and not the prop master..

Whose whole job it is to secure said weapon and to make sure it is always safe on the scene.

Sure there will be tons of lawsuits against baldwin..

But im also thinking he will get jailtime out of this

Why would you have any live rounds on set?

Er sorry gang as much as you want to politicalize this story it's contents come from kmbz radio in kc, the Washington examiner,cnn...etc.

It isn't political to me in the least

It's one person in charge not using osha standards or trained union experts..

It isn't a case of feeling sorry for alec..
The idiot shot people practicing his fast draw with a real fucking gun.

What part of that don't you get

Horse crap straight out of fox news???

This is why we can't have real debates..

Numerous reports say the assistant director handed Alex the gun calling it cold ( filled with blanks).. said ass dir isn't a prop master.

The union walkout over safety concerns and I'm assuming the prop master did too..being a union position.

They continued filming...this has to be an osha violation

Your judging this as an actor that had an accident. He is listed as an exe producer on this film. Huge difference

More bullshit. You every fucking see how many executive producers there are for a movie? I was watching a services the other day and it had 13 fucking executive producers. They just invest money for the most part and have not other input.

The gun was COLD means there was nothing in it. No blanks, no nothing.

And because an actor takes a supposedly empty gun from whoever, and practices drawing with it and it goes off, does NOT make him responsible or mean he should never work again.

This is just another example of the BS you spew from here on a daily basis. I am done with this propaganda BS blog and you.
