Was the slap real? My opinion See below |

Now as someone that has been in my fair share of fights growing up, i thought id give my opinion on the slap. I finally got to watch a good copy of the incident. First off Will laughs at the joke I cant tell you what is going on in will smiths brain, but as a man we dont just shift emotional gears that easily. Some suggest Jada gave him that " look". But even if you offended my sister,my mom etc and im coming... I doubt most guy's instinct is to bitch slap someone. Lets examine chris rock for a moment...will smith comes on stage and chris either puts his hands in his pocket or behind his back? Chris says some corny line about " king richard"..smiles and leans his head forward ??? Huh...i mean you just goofed on the man's wife being bald AF...will is bigger/ taller and now come on stage with you.. Probably most comedians' biggest fear ( direct confrontation with an audience member).. And chris doesnt walk way, he doesnt defend himself..he sits there and offers up his head..he closes his eyes before the slap ??? Even so i've yet to see a good angle of the slap/ the actual contact. It appears to me that Will misses.. Even if he hit.... Chris doesnt go flying...isnt dazed...doesnt get angry Very odd considering a grown ass man just slapped his face.. And if your ever curious as how men really react..there are ..omg...face slapping tournaments from places like the Ukraine. I kidd you not...you can watch them online. Even odder is Will's reaction when he wins the award.. He all talking about luv and shit. So either this was a prank that went really wrong or i believe will smith maybe be bi polar... To go from that level of anger to then crying ...for winning an award he knew beforehand that he won Something is a lil sus.

LoL, I usually don't buy into conspiracy theories but I have that feeling as well. I believe the slap was fake but for a set of different reasons. I personally believe that was Will Smiths attempt to change his public perception amongst black men, that he is not submissive to his wife and lost the respect of his family. Jada and Will have had an open relationship and for a long time she has been VOCAL all over the internet and TV saying how bad sex with him was and only stayed with him because he is a good nurturer and father, which culminated in her openly dating and sleeping with a teenager rapper. Will Smith and Chris Rock are friends, comedians have been roasting them on this for years e.g Rebel Wilson, he didn't slap her. Will Smith has been a Hollywood joke for a while, which is why after the slap he was being praised by the likes of his kids and Sam Jackson and almost universally by black women. But the fact that he was laughing until his wife rolled her eyes .... in the words of another rapper Can-i-bus : "That's a bitch move, something a homo rapper would do. So when you say you Plat-in-him [platinum] you only dropping clues."

The swearing in front of an audience of celebrities was certainly real. Not too like Will Smith's public image.
