Funny how this story shifted from a gun debate to Where the fuck were the cops.... No resource officer in the school, back door left open, police standing around.. I get people dont wish to arm teachers...but hope about giving them say tear gas.. If a few teachers could deplow it...it may sicken the gunman enough to leave the school. Just a thought

And whats with this bullshit where cops wait for backup before confronting a shooter.. Fuck the shooter most likely is some dumb teen that never shot a gun in his life and is using a single shot rifle. Hell i dont wanna sound like billy bad ass.. But id gladly go in with just my 9mm s&w... He can have an ar 15... I like my chances with my s&w.

This is a huge failure of the school officials and the local police. The doors should have been locked and the classroom shouldn't have been accessible. The shooter confronted a school security officer who was too afraid to confront him. The local police stood outside afraid to confront the shooter while parents discussed rushing the shooter. The shooter spent over an hour killing students and teacher an I'm sure he wished he'd packed a lunch. He was confronted and killed by federal border patrol agents not the local police or the texas rangers. There is no way I'd allow my children to attend school in texas!!! When you say guns don't kill only crazy people do, the cops weren't afraid of the 18 year old kid . . they are scared shitless of an AR-15 ??

Even worse a local kc guy that does threat assessment training for emt,police,schools etc... Said that left open door was for smokers..teachers that want a smoke..but cant on a smoke free campus.. Let that sink in..an open door means they dont have to card out,go through security etc
