Should there be a lesser term for sadist See below |

I really wonder about terms like sadist and maschioist.. Are they meant to be extreme? Or are they inclusive and a catch all terms for anyone that might enjoy the lightest of pain? And if so..do you feel like these people are posers..gloming onto your terms. I ask because i personally would enjoy exploring pain deeper as a sub And i really enjoy seeing men in pain...( not as a Dom/ top myself but in vids). I think part of this is because i dont like seeing women, female subs abused...no offense to female subs So i channel all this interest of this into men..luv to see them used, humilated, objectified, fucked, beaten and really pushed to their limits.. I luv to see a male in pain, completely helpless and used roughly for the Dominant's pleasure. For me it's not abusive...cause with a male sub..I can process it as a great power exchange. But I'd hardly label myself a sadist or maschioist.. And i feel these terms may keep someone from really exploring the rhelm of pain.. I'm thinking maybe there needs to be some new terms for people like me

And please dont get me wrong..I'm not suggesting abusing anyone..including men... Rather im viewing pain as a means of training, pushing boundaries and helping mold the male as a slave. I think of it more like weight lifting...yeah it's painful, yeah It's a bitch and yeah sometimes you need a Dominant person pushing you/ motivating you.. But that is the only way to bust through sticking points and growing. Some will see a male simply in pain from say a whip.. I see it as he is being trained, his limits tested and pushed.. So for me..this isn't sadism...I just think men are Tonka t uff and meant to be rough with. Yet someonelse would call it sadism???

I'm just saying....when does one actually start using this term in their profile.. And what does it really signal to those potential slaves.. And is a sadist that likes heavy impact play,canes,etc..the same as a sadist that likes to use needles in one's penis... I know I'd be willing to play more readily with the impact Dominant than the needle Dominant.. But is that fair? Am I being silly and judgemental.. Are not both sadist?

Catchall, just like BDSM it's all in the degree of participation. Should there be a lesser term for BDSM for those that can't do it 24/7, or are only in it slightly? We have too many terms and acronyms as it is. it can be mind-boggling.
