First off i get why people are angry/ the media is angry at Alex jones...

But like trump...officials are combing through every tidbit in hopes of..

What? Actual prision time

Or better...keeping Alex off air/ trump out of the next election..

But omg the way these officials are going by to collect any Intel is mindblowing...
And in my non attorney opinion..
Illegal AF..

Take Alex Jones case: his attorney was told by the courts to hand over any text from Mr Jones' phone related to Sandy hook.

This attorney " accidently" sent the entire file containing all mr. Jones's text in his phone instead to the attorney representing the Sandy hook parents

Attornies have commented that " mistakes" like this do happen
..information that isnt pertaintant to the case do get sent by accident

BUT it is an ethical violation for the opposition to keep it/use it. It is supposed to be returned and the judge notified.

People then will shout that Mr Jones commited perjury..needs to be behind bars😲😲😬😬😬😡😡

I say no he didn't because the Sandy hook attorney failed to share the knowledge that he indeed had the rest of Mr Jones text...with Mr Jones's attorney..

And then bushwacked Alex on the stand with the non shared info in court
Basically used text not entered into evidence...in a court of law/ before a judge..

Like how do i know?? Alex Jones would have never lied if he had the knowledge that the opposition did have complete access to ALL his text.

Like huh??? How isnt the Sandy hook attorney disbarred??
Why did the judge allow this to continue??

Oh wait..it's Alex Jones and people dont care about his actual rights and the rules of law..
They just want to see him pay.

Third the punitive judgement..43 million..?

Which will easily be overturned because Texas law limits damage to 750,000 period..

Sure the judge can deny the law and stand with the judgement..

But it will be appealed and overturned..

Cause the law is the law..

So let me rehash...

Sandy hook parents sued and may win 750,000 dollars..which could be tied up for years in appeals..
Against a man and his corporation that is bankrupted.

They attempted to smear Alex Jones's rep/ name...?

Er...hello it's Alex Jones of infowars...have you watched the show..he ruined his rep years ago..

You attempted to jail him...
And nope he will never step inside a jail cell..

So what was the point of this dog and pony show?..

Was it so the contents of Mr Jones's phone found itself in the lap of the Jan 6th committee???

But hey atleast the fbi has a warrant in trump's case..so I guess a warrant looking for real paper top secret documents somehow covers taking the homes surveillance video..

???

My point is you could put Attila the hun before a jury.

But he has rights..

And just because an activist judge allows crap to fly in their courtroom

Doesn't mean it will stick and will be overturned in the appeal process..

So Alex Jones may indeed rise again

The point of the lawsuit is to hold jones responsible for the damages done to the families of the sandy hook victims for jones loud an repeated lie that sandy hook was a hoax.
The most important point is to make him stop telling the lie.
Sort of like trump an the damage done by his big lie about the election being stolen.

Some time the point of law is truth and justice, unique don't you think??

Sandy hook parents sued and may win 750,000 dollars..

The law guiding punitive damages allows plaintiffs to collect up to twice what was awarded in economic compensatory damages — plus the same amount as was awarded in noneconomic compensatory damages, with the latter limited to $750,000.
In Jones’ case, Jesse Lewis’ parents were awarded $4.1 million in compensatory damages, but none of that has been specified as economic damages.
That means Jones’ punitive damages, which amounted to $45.2 million, could be limited to $750,000 if courts decide that the cap does apply. Add that to the $4.1 million, and the parents could wind up collecting just $4.85 million in total.
Keep in mind that an appeal to the state or u.s. supreme court will most likely get the limit set aside.

Jones claim of bankruptcy has already been denied by the judge.
trump has filed bankruptcy six times an we see how broke he is!!

Like how do i know?? Alex Jones would have never lied

Duh . . He's on trial for lying!

But he has rights..

He had the right to remain silent and then the issue of lying wouldn't be an issue now would it but some dumbasses think they're smarter that the guy asking the question.

That is why there are appeals of rulings.
Like you said, you are not an attorney. Just because you don't think it's legal or don't like it doesn't mean it isn't so.
You think Jones and Trump have had their rights trampled? Now you know how MILLIONS of women are feeling about the reversal of Roe vs Wade.
