What peaky blinders told me about historical violence that will never stop See below |

Came across a youtube vid last night that really put the nature of violence into a prospective. It talked about peaky blinders....a gang in the u.k cira 1880. The British leaders decided to abolish child labor... Sooooooooo yeah Your now left with very poor families struggling to get by... And you now leave a group unable to work and alot of time on their hands.. And honestly I thought you could have easily inserted the crips for the peaky blinders. The kids formed gangs and did what they needed to get by... I find it ironic that we debate gun violence in the US. Back in the 1880 uk..guns were expensive...the gangs had knives,brass knuckles or bare knuckled boxed instead.. And ironically these gang members used their money to look like a dandy...using money on fancy silk scarfs Today they would run out to get the latest nike or 24 inch crome rims Yes they basically became..organized crime.. And the irony.. Cops really didn't give a shit...until the peaky blinders crossed a line.. Murdered a cop... And how do you stop organized crime.. You hired a..,well mother fucker..war vet from scotland....that literally will put a foot in your ass and broke it off That basically recruited an army of the biggest thug cops..that would swing first...and beat people And it took the government..being thugs for 10 yrs to finally defeat the peaky blinders So what lesson are we left with.. Either we wish for some ungodly experience where everyone is equal Or everyone is armed..so criminals tread lightly.. To a world where police beat crime..literally.. Think about that... cause that is our past
