Before i talk with that w almart store director.. I decided im gonna talk with both the Missouri and the kc board of alcohol about the w almart situation. Someone approving the age verification isnt the same as actually making the sale/ scanning the alcohol. To which a business must have a license to sell alcohol and the associate must have a permit/ training.. If one can have a customer scan the alcohol.. Then why would any business incur the additional expense of getting a permit for its associates.. Is getting the permit just so the employee can age verify...? NOPE it's to legally sell alcohol in that store in the city and the state. I don't have an alcohol license, nor permit to sell alcohol...so I can't scan alcohol in a self check out lane Me scanning an item is ringing up the purchase...whether alcohol or onions..it's a legal transaction. And we would all scoff at a patron getting their own beer or ringing up the transaction at a bar.. So I'm gonna call these agencies to see if w almarts practices are actually legal.. Would be funny AF if w almart is indeed in violation of their license and this cost them thousands in fines

I hope you get wally world fined in to the ground. Typically, around boise anyway, an employee is supervising all the self checkout lanes, and when alcohol is rung up, they go to that customer to verify age. I refuse to use self checkout. I also refuse to enter wally world.
