I find

It funny how many women/ people profess they are progressive..

But will quickly embrace a fairytale,adore Disney and imagine themselves a princess..

And it doesn't matter if you remove past stereotypes,it doesn't matter if you correct things like prince Eric kissing a 16 yr old that can't verbalize consent..
It doesn't matter if the little mermaid is a girl boss.
It still is toxic AF

When you still wish to wear those glass slippers..

My point of the blog is simple..

Women will always have a high value of themselves..

And will always desire someone they can't have.

The lil mermaid is a princess...yet desires something/ someone beyond what can be found in the sea..

Eric? Is a chad...not seen as an actual person..but as a means to social climb.

Is she really in love with him or what he stands for.. a life beyond her father's control?? A world denied her??

I find it funny that you never hear a fairy tale where the maiden falls for say..a simple village fisherman.

Couldn't a fisherman love her as well as a prince.

But it is written as a prince..cause duh...she could always settle for the fisherman..

She wants Chad..

And only in a fairy tale would a Chad wish to commit.

Not only are Disney fairytales harmful to girls..

It really is bad for boys too..

Look at Aladdin for example...the princess has no interest,no use in an average boy from the streets.

It's teaching boys the road to meeting girls is wealth,power,status.

Yet I'm blown away when progressives embraces these new rewrites of classic fairy tales..

Girl boss or not..she still wants a prince...

Like don't you see how toxic this is relationship wise for both women and men..

Women chase the bad boys to they are 30..
Then bitch he won't commit..
Then jump on tiktok and complain where are the good men..

Er..you missed him..the simple fisherman...

That you swiped left cause he wasn't prince eric..

And this is what we are teaching the next generation of kids..

Girls deserve better.
Boys? You better make that money cause that's what they respect..

Wash,rinse, repeat..whether 1943 or 2023

But hey it's easy for a boy to play the game too..

Become a king..become prince eric..become that chad..

And just don't commit period..

Cause that is what women want...

Let that sink in the next time you watch a Disney live actiin
