Funny we can give tech/$$$ to Ukraine..why not give our best to Israel and I welcome comments and opposing views on this issue.. Funny Biden wants to give Ukraine 100 billion dollars.. Can I ask Biden to ask congress for the same for Isreal. How is russia the " evil" empire but iran,iran,Saudi Arabia Given a pass..fuck Biden just let Iran receive 6 billion dollars of it's assets.. And you don't think it won't fund these terrorist groups??? Talk about a complete dumbass. I find it funny how members of the " crew" literally supported Palestinian who have taken hostages..some american. Funny how white guys are evil...we should h word putin.. But Muslim terrorist? The media tries to turn the other cheek.. I'm an american...I fully support Israel. I stand with Israel. Our friends..our allies. I want to see Biden give Abram tanks, advanced helicopters,anti tank weapons...and billions to those in Israel |

It's an important topic, Leo, and I appreciate your desire to address it, but you don't need to immediately draw political lines in the sand to do it. The Israeli's are unfortunately getting exactly what they should have expected from Hamas. They don't deserve it. Nobody deserves that kind of slaughter. But they should have expected it and they should have taken precautions. What they shouldn't have been doing was staging a divisive fight over emasculating their Supreme Court so their prime minister could stay out of jail which caused thousands of members of the Israeli military to refuse to show up for work. If you hold a rock concert way the hell out in the desert next to a terrorist encampment, while your military is not showing up for work, do you expect terrorists to throw flowers over the barbed wire? When I camped next to a river full of crocodiles in Zimbabwe I slept in the canoe, not on the ground. When I bathed on a sand bar in the same river I had an armed lookout posted. Where was the Mossad, Israel's renowned spy agency? Why weren't they on high alert for something like this? Where were the extra guards and tanks along the Gaza border? So much for the past. What do we do now? The first thing we do is not politicize the issue. We need to all work together, like the US and the rest of the industrialized democracies are doing with Ukraine, something our country has apparently forgotten how to do domestically. We also need to remind ourselves that the Middle East is a quagmire. It's not like Europe, where we have allies we can rely on. We need to be clear headed, get our facts straight, know which end of the pool is the shallow end before we dive in head first. The Gaza problem isn't going to be solved with Abrams tanks and technology. Hamas has more than a hundred hostages. More than ten of them are evidently Americans. Can you begin to imagine the public reaction if even one of them is beheaded on live TV followed by the inevitable scenes on the same live TV the very next moment of grieving families of the victims and frightened families of the remaining hostages still alive demanding that the US government do something? What good are bombs and tanks, a hundred million dollars, a war with Iran and the best technology going to do if we don't even know where the hostages are? This isn't a sci-fi TV adventure movie. Does this scenario remind you of some country where the entire government is paralyzed while their House of Representatives is tied in knots by six idiots?
