Advice wanted...getting older at work

Hey just wanted to ask for some friendly work advice as I get older..

So when do the benefits stop being benefits..

And you say fuck it..

In my case my employer..not only added that 40 dollar ever two weeks surcharge on my insurance...
Which may lead me to file an EEOC complaint against them..

My health insurance went up 10 percent..

And the kicker..the outside life insurance that I got for 46 bucks a month..

Doubled..just cause I will be 55 instead of 54 come Dec 31..

Being real...I make 25 an hr,have 23 yrs verified,a million miles, driven,I have the licenses,etc etc etc..

A domino pizza sorta driver makes roughly 17-19..an hr

An Amazon driver..No experiece..No cdl..can start at 20-21???..and can smoke weed

So what is the incentive to stay with my current employer..

If I say fuck it to the so called benefits...the money saved could offset the 2 or 3 dollars less an hr that I'd make driving for say amazon..

And it would be an easier job, less stress...driving a small van..

So what good are benefits when they nickle and dime you to death..

And people may say why pay an older employee when a younger employee is healthier,etc..

A younger driver don't give a shit..

And will hit ever pothole..and newer trucks cost $$$

An experienced driver like myself might actually care about company property.

People have to understand that employees stay at jobs for the benefits..

Right now it's hard to find drivers...

Why would you push older ones out the door..

Meanwhile age doesn't really give you an idea about health of the individual..

I'm 54..I work out..I can bench 220..right now I'm not costing the company..shit

A 20 yr old could be 300lbs,barely pass his physical...and cost the company A lot more in health premiums.

Yet I'm the guy they will squeeze out...

And thus begins the revolving door of drivers for this company..
as I age I feel like I need to get greasy....there will always be scummy jobs for a good driver..but as I age..I can forget about real benefits..

And just ride

Dirty...

Who knows...

I think I need to shift my minds geers...

After a few days off..I honestly thought I could stay..

Now

I see the writings on the wall..

There is no future there for me

I'm aging out

Me: a guy with an A license with all the certs,20 plus yrs of driving for the same company,a million miles driven,
Clean driving record..
Clean background..

And the thing that will force me out...

Is my reduction in benefits..

How stupid are companies??

Our rivals are willing to take on someone straight out of driving school..

But let's push out the experienced drivers..

The other night I was in wal mart hell......I was checking an item in an isle.....I heard a beep and turned around and a floor washing/buffing machine was sitting there......no driver. As I started down the isle it followed.....if I turned around it backed up. There use to be a driver on that washer.....but no more.....sign of the times....no insurance needed, no hourly pay, vacations, breaks, holidays.....never calls in sick, never late.....as I walked by I flipped the switch.....was my way of getting even for someone that lost their job...if there had not been so many people around I would have unplugged it and tried to short it out.....
