Pipes burst.

So yeah..

Maybe you didn't realise your boy was such a trend setter ..

50 something..no ..
No 401 k
No retirement plan
Roommates..4 cars in a driveway and only 1 belongs to me

Welcome to the new America..thank God for " bideneconomics"

I had a pipe burst in my house today..

Paid a plumber 300 bucks to fix it..

And he did us a favor..leapfrogged us.. cause my roommate is disabled.
Most plumbing companies said it would be a week before they could come over,

My roomie literally no longer has feet due to his diabetes..

His basement room got soaked and his bathroom now needs to be gutted.

Fun times..

Yeah it's been a bitch week that broke me..minus 20 below windchill and i worked out in it

I literally just wanted it to end..

And if I was

By myself..

I might have just ended it..

Being real...the worst week of my life.

It's like a torment that will not fucking end.

you should learn how to plumb with pvc or pex tubing. it's really easy. measure cut, and glue. YouTube and the library will teach you everything you need to know for doing it yourself. i taught myself. You can teach yourself too.

Yeah, sometimes, this kind of sh#t happens, like it will never end...
What alwaysassertive says.

Learn it, your self, gives you power over your situation.
Hang in there, things will get better. ..

I personally learned how to do basic plumbing, electrical work etc as a kid back in the 70's. My parents built their "dream" house out in the country and other than having the concrete foundation dug, poured, etc, the family did all the work ourselves. My dad used that to teach me the basics, saved my ass a bunch of times here in the future. Of course four years later they got divorced, but that's another story lol.

Theses days my biggest issue is finding the parts to fix something when I need to, the big box stores and other places aren't as well stocked as they used to be.

I've been there, overwhelmed and looking like no hope.

It'll be all good man, hang in there.

Like the old saying goes, this too shall pass.

Sometimes it passes like a kidney stone, but it passes.
