I get to walk only six blocks to Lake Michigan. But I have not done it often in the past two years. This reminds me to take a walk this afternoon/early evening. Thanks

The ocean can be a very calming place. The constant breeze, the sounds of the surf.

I grew up by the ocean so it's no big deal to me. I was at the beach every weekend. I like it especially it at night. I just wouldn't go swimming at night. Sharks are always close by, but at night is when they like to feed. The wind is always blowing on the beach and if I have a lounge chair I can go right to sleep on the boardwalk. The main thing I like is the ability to do some fishing. The only drawback is if the water is warm the fish are going to be in deeper water. I guess there's always crabbing. I really hate boiling the bastards to death but it's the only way to cook them.
