Presumably you mean FET LIFE. COLLAR SPACE and FET STER are good, and totally free. I have made more genuine contacts and met more honorable people through them than ALT or F-L. Don't expect me to spend time providing reviews, just because you are to lazy to explore them yourself. The entire purpose of F-L is similar to Craigs List -- direct interaction with locals whom you know share a similar interest via participation in various fora [plural of forum]. F-L is very good at the intentionally limited service it provides. Like the OP has done, best strategy is to join all 4 with same handle [user name]. Any appropriately intelligent person of interest can figure out how to communicate across sites. But as always, beware of a conniver -- [post 1105422] Via my handle ALDOMPDX, I communicate on the usual daught calm places.

FET, easy. Free and the scammers are few and far between. Fet doesn't have an excuse to employ people to create fake to drive traffic.

I like Alt because it seems more active and people seem more approachable on here. I like Fet though because yeah you can actually view profiles or even send messages lol and your not being asked every 5 seconds to upgrade... So I would say they both have their benefits.. BTW my Fet is also same name but I haven't updated the profile in a while so be warned

i use both and do try to update both in a synchronized fashion. best intentions.. i'm prone to broadcasting here - my slave kitchen cooking show, cardio coffee breaks and late night hazy diatribes. i get more traffic through Alt but it is often international. FL traffic tends to be local. i like to read the blogs on both sites. happy summer to all! best, a

Fet gets my vote primarily because altand all the other sites that seem to be linked to alt, is one frustrating pay wall after another. I've been on alt longer but I'm at the point where once I run out of "points" I'm packing this site up for good. I've met more people live and in person through Fet. I've found more events to attend through Fet. I've discovered more about myself through Fet. Alt hasn't really been at all useful over the years.

I've been on both sites for some years now, but never really managed to get my head around how Fetlife works. Alt is fairly simple and I personally find it useful for meeting people. I think Fetlife is good if you want to get into groups for specific fetishes or maybe clubbing, markets, etc. The best site ever, which I joined in the late 90s was IC (informedconsent.co.uk). Sadly it closed down some years ago. There was a replacement site started by one of the IC users, but I lost track of that and not sure if it still exists. Searching for play partners on FET is very cumbersome, but at least there seem to be fewer scammers than on Alt.

I have not been on FET forever but when I was it seemed like the profiles and even comments were years old.
