ALT. We have problems, ALT a BDSM & Alternative Lifestyle Personals. I believe it should be renamed to 95% Fakes and Scammers. This is not my first quarrel with ALT. Ive been going around the last few weeks posting on several fake profiles to stop using pictures that simply don’t belong to people using them. I come across one profile that refuses any criticism against it and will take down anything that is deemed negative and deletes that comment so the facade can remain status quo. This caught my attention after this profile blocked me for calling this out. So much so that I went on a crusade. Reported that profile multiple times, anytime I saw the profile pop up in the feed I would call it out. Well you see. I guess this person got butt hurt and reported me. My profile got taken down for a few days without notice. After confirming all the things I needed to confirm I get this message. “ Dear Member, Thank you for contacting our Abuse team. We have recently received an email showing that you have engaged in inappropriate behavior toward another member(s) via email. This directly violates our Terms of Use (which you agreed to upon joining), and your account has been deactivated. Please send us an email stating that you understand this warning and agree to no longer engage in sending any such email to this and other members. We'll then reactivate your account within 48 hours. This serves as your official first warning. The next step will be to delete your account, without warning or refunds. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us again. Thank you” Please show me where I was engaged in inappropriate behavior. I would love to see what you think that is?Please show me? Never did I once engaged in inappropriate behavior unless you think calling out a fake profile is inappropriate ? I kept this persons profile in my inbox and it looks like I took this one down, but at what cost? To have a voice is to stand up to what you think is right. I almost destroyed my own profile to take down one person. Im proud that this asshat is gone. I comply. Only to bring you this. I wanted to show everyone on this site that the SCAMMERS AND FAKES have more control over ALT as a whole. ALT you thrive on these scammers. You give them the control. When one points it out and reports it with legitimate claims. Someone who has actually done the work for your team. No. You sweep it under the rug. Keep handing out those gold memberships to these scammers and fake profiles. Soon enough your site will be no more than a bucket of filth and not in the sexy kinky way either. ALT you need to take a serious look within your company. You hand out gold membership to these scammers day in and day out. They flood the website. When you have an actual paid membership looking throughout its disgusting to see. ALT you took over collarspace and force people to come here to pay. Thankfully there is Fetlife. At least there its free and you can meet people throughout the whole world without paying a cent. My membership expires this month and Im glad it does. Ive met some interesting people here but does not make up for the constant weeding through profiles. ALT I will never give you another cent. I will continue to post from time to time, but in the end ALT will sweep this under the rug. My profile will be gone and things will go back to business as normal. Scammers, Fakes, and trolls will pollute this site until its runned into the ground. This one goes out to all the people who are here. That are real. Stick up for yourselves here. It is a shame that they don't more. i think they did in the past but it seems lately that is not the case.

We aren’t all frauds and fakes. There are a lot of males masquerading as females though, and I’ve recently been emailed by quite a few people saying some so called dominants were trying to legitimately blackmail and out them in their business and private lives. I joined the site in 2005 and it was fairly decent back then....🤔

Actually, it is 99.999999999% fakes and scammers, especially on the female side. A little better on the male side. If you really want to meet someone interested in kink, you are much better off on the mainstream sites like Tinder,Bumble, etc. Recent polling suggests about 33% of the people looking are receptive to kink, so dump this site and move on if you really want to meet someone. Bottom line is this site is worthless. My husband and I are only on this site due to a free gold membership and it is getting pretty ridiculous so we are not long for this Alt world. Good luck and keep it kinky.

I just got a message from another fake. I. told her to not start. She asks for me to "prove it" So I sent her over the actual person. She then said "so this is the proved" I cant make this shit up.

Exactly why I am now a standard member what with all the things mentioned above but you also forgot the crappy service from ALT in that half the things that they advertise don't work !!!!

I've been blocked by so many fakes for calling them out on pics and statuses. As long as there are enough gullible fools on here they will keep showing up. This used to be a fun site if for nothing more than some good chats but it has turned to shit in the past few tears. I only stay for the few read worthy blogs anymore

Glad to see that there are actual people on here blogging instead of scamming. I agree with thussfar, if you report a fake or scammer it is your own profile that's going down, bit upside down world really. I keep standard, gives me a valid reason not to able to reply and insult the (insert insult) person. I do love reading these blogs.. i learn something new every day
