Just ecause you want it to be so does not make it so , and memes are a poor sustitute for evidenced argument. In fact using memes shows the absolute paucity of your argument.
Jumping on one news report just ecause it agrees with you is a sign of desperation.

For a balanced view (and some worthwhile analysis ) try Fores.
Since at least mid-2022, politicians, economists and market professionals have been engaged in a great semantic debate over whether the U.S. economy is headed for recession or not.

The argument, invariably influenced by politics, came down to how you defined the word recession.

According to a general definition of recession—two consecutive quarters of negative gross domestic product (GDP)—the U.S. entered into a recession in the summer of 2022.

The organization that defines U.S. business cycles, the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), takes a different view. According to the NBER’s definition of recession—a significant decline in economic activity that is spread across the economy and that lasts more than a few months—we were not in a recession in the summer of 2022.

“We have a hard time believing the economy is in recession today, given a strong labor market and corporate earnings growth,” said Tim Holland, chief investment officer at Orion Advisor Solutions. “We also remind ourselves that recessions are uncommon, as our economy was in recession just 8% of the time over the past 30 years.”

Nevertheless, a recession may still arrive at some point soon.

The economy is still growing and the jobs market, in particular, is very strong.
Worldwide inflation is higher than in the US but interest rates are rising and so recessionary pressure is growing. Nevertheless the US is not in recession y most metrics and it is still debatable whether there will be a recession in the US in 2023.

What is hilarious is that the second meme you used cannot be related to ANY of the usual 15 indicators which apply to the economy so not only is it an obviously evidence free it is also symbolic of the alternate reality in which desperate GOP nut jobs reside. The party of the batwing crazy is bereft of ideas and has no policies so mindless, evidence free slurs on the POTUS are all they have. How utterly disastrous for US government is that?

We have all read the same articles you mentioned. But being a business owner is a little bit different than sitting and reading the newspaper or your favorite webpage. Our company and everyone in it has felt the pinch since the day bidet came into office. This is the worst our whole group has been since the disastrous cartier years. The only reason the job market is growing at all, if any, is all the people finally coming back to try and find jobs since being out of work during a fake pandemic. There are help wanted signs hanging all over town. Most of the jobs may get filled but keeping the workers is another thing. So many social help programs now it is easier for someone to work the system than go to work in the system. But not to worry, I know you are to young to remember any of the disastrous cartier years especially since you live in another part of the world. But the last time I was in your part of the world I don't remember a damn thing good about it. I'm sure it is an ideal spot to live and raise a family. Just try not to call us to do your bidding this time as your 3rd world country comes crashing down.

As another outsider I am fascinated by the words "fake pandemic" Covid 19 seems to have killed over a million of your countrymen, and continues to kill directly and from side effects How many have to die before you call it a real pandemic?

Pandemic anyway means only that it is everywhere. It was global.

Not sure why I am wasting my time on the keyboard.

Your bias is on full display - as is your xenophoia.
You can continue to live in your twisted, insular bule but that will not stop the world going on without you.
You trot out all the old tropes (Reagans welfare queens raise their ugly heads again I see) and even display your utter ignorance of Science and reality with 'fake pandemic' - tell that to the hundreds of millions of people who have lost loved ones to COVID-19.
As to age - that is just a number to put on a profile; suffice it to say I remember the coronation of our lately departed Queen -- which would suggest that you are no older than I am. I remember Carter being elected to fix the economic disaster of the 1973 OPEC oil price hike which sank Ford and doig an excellent jo - I wonder if you remeber the Revenue Act 1978 which gave you and the rest of Americans a $19 billion tax cut or that the stimulus provided cut the deficit in real terms from 4.4% of GDp to 2.5% of GDP; a magnificent achievement in the midst of a gloal recession. Reality does not fit with your assertions , made with no economic analysis I see, and you certainly do not help your case with childish insults - the POTUS is called Joe Biden
It always amuses me how Historically challenged Americans trot out Hollywood History in their pronouncements. I challenge you to explain why Operation Sea Lion was shelved a full 16 months before the US belatedly entered WW2 after getting its metaphorical arse kicked by the Japanese at Pearl Harbor.

Have a good day and bless your little heart.

When the Civil War ended, why did West Virginia not return to Virginia? West Virginia broke away from Virginia before the conflict so they could remain in the Union and not become part of the Confederacy. I wonder what economic impact that has on the overall economy of the nation.
