Teachers.....gotta loveum...... The local school band director had just met the new football coach for the upcoming season. As a gesture of goodwill for the upcoming season between the band and football team the director decided to ask the new coach if he would like to go fishing one afternoon. The coach said it had been awhile since he had gone fishing but would like to go. They met the next afternoon at the local lake and went out in the directors boat. The fishing was very slow given the heat of the summer. The director tried to come up with a topic they both could converse on but all he keep getting were simple yes and no answers from the coach. Finally digging in his lunch sack he pulled out a bag. Deciding this might be the ice breaker he opened the bag. "Hey coach....you ever had macadamia nuts before????" The coach turned around, took off his hat, scratched his head and replied....."I don't think so, but I had the clap one time!" |
