Thank you.
I also love thunderstorms; often take long walks during them.
And you picked an awesome song.

I love laying in bed listening to them and seeing the lightning flashes through my windows. Even better if I'm sleeping over at a doms house.

I've always liked thunderstorms especially being outside under the carport during really violent ones with strong lightning and thunder as a teen. My grandmother would be scared to death that I was out there, but I was held captive with amazement of all that awesome power being unleashed. I don't know if it was safe or not, but I lived.
Lightning is still hypnotic, perhaps because it's so unpredictable and it does what it does..Who knows.

I don't mind thunderstorms, but nowadays everything at home is full of electronics and I'm afraid of damages.

A nearby lighting once burned a dimmer. The lights wouldn't go off.

nothing better than being in bed during a storm in arizona.....windows open......getting into each others sweat......smelling the aroma of your bodies mixed with the smell of the storms......listening to the thunder......mmmmmmmm

I've alway loved storms, especially thunderstorms. I go to the beach during hurricanes to see the surf crash on the shore, or to the waterfront during typhoons when in Japan to see the boats tossed in huge waves. Just the other night I watched from the deck of my cabin as lightning lit the sky overhead and waited a second to hear the thunder crack and then roll from left to right overhead and down the Blue Ridge mountain chain. It's amazing how the overhead sound reaches your ear first, but then the rolling thunder from either side lets you hear what is going on out of sight in the clouds as the lightning flash travels.

When I can, I go out in the storm carrying an umbrella, or wearing an Akubra and a Dryzabone and just let the rain pour down on and around me as the lightning flashes and the storm rages. My jeans get soaked below the knees, but who cares? I'm in heaven.
