Braving the Seven Elements of Trust

I am watching the snow fall and was pondering the word t-r-u-s-t...

The elements of trust are essential in what we do. Without it, there is nothing. Break it, and getting it back will be hell. Abuse it, and you will have a hard time getting it back as well. It is the essence of what makes relationships work...

So let's use the acronym BRAVING for the seven elements of trust:

B-oundaries - You respect my boundaries and when you are not clear about what's okay and not okay, you ask. We are both willing to say no when it is not okay.

R-eliability - You do what you say you'll do. This means staying aware of your limitations and competencies, so you don't over-promise and are able to deliver on commitments.

A-ccountability - You own your mistakes, apologise, and make amends.

V-ault - You don't share information or experiences that are not yours to share. I need to know that my confidences are kept, and that you're not sharing with me confidences other people have shared with you that I shouldn't know.

I-ntegrity - You choose courage over comfort. You choose what is right over what is fun, fast, or easy. And, you choose to practice your values over simply professing them.

Non-Judgement - I can ask for what I need and you can ask for what you need. We can talk about how we feel without judgement.

G-enerosity - You extend the most generous interpretation possible to the intentions, words, and actions of others.

Poetess, any kinkd relationship, between two people, between a person and a business and between one business and another business, TRUST is absolutely essential. Think about what you do for a livning being a hair stylist, trust between you and your client(s) is how you stay in business. It's always better to "under promise" and "over deliver"" It keeps your relationship solid

A relationship without
trust is like a car without
gas. You can stay in it all
you want, but it won't go
anywhere.

Thank you Jenny. Yes, trust has many elements, it is too general a word in usual use.
