Oh, so many obstacles and horrible experiences. It's amazing how much the human spirit can take and still come out on top. Your fortitude and resourcefulness gives me that kick in the butt that I need.

WOW!!! What an ordeal to have to deal with so far from home.

It could only happen in Boulder. We call it the people republic of Boulder. I grew up there and thankfully escaped long ago. Should have put the word out, some of us that had already had covid could have helped.

I happened across part 2 and had to go back to read part 1 to get the full context. This community is like a microcosm of society at large, most members are who they appear to be, and as a community it's probably one of the most honest places for the exchange of legitimate ideas and feelings. Unfortunately there is also the same small fractional fringe who are not what they say. Which in a space where people can freely declare being sadistic, and be openly accepted and perhaps even applauded, means they're dangerous to everyone. Sadly, you fell prey to one of those individuals. When you pondered what they could possibly hope to achieve by betraying your trust, I think the answer is that's their real kink, their thrill. Everything else is an act to manipulate you into a position of trust and vulnerability, just so they can betray it and feed off sense of power. I'm looking forward to hearing the rest of the story. You obviously survived, so there's a positive note!
