Return to the Hills to Heal

“No man is as wise as Earth. She has witnessed every human day, every human struggle, every human pain, and every human joy. For maladies of both body and spirit, the wise ones of old pointed man t.o the hills. For man too is of the dust and th.e Earth stands ready t.o nurture and heal her .”
― Anasazi Foundation, The Seven Paths: Changing One's Way of Walking in the World

The Shanendoah is beautiful too but it's a valley. I prefer living up high at 4,000 or so. NC doesn't have fracking in the mountains so they have remained beautiful

You should make it to the Blue Ridge of NC, deep in the woods at the NC, VA, and TN line

Many years ago I spent Christmas with a friend and her family in Asheville. Life was so different and the views were spectacular. I'm from Western PA so I've seen my share of sights but that one from Asheville will always stay with me.
