House Bitching After The Storm  The hurricane is gone and now we all scramble to make some money again But, it is Sunday, so I cleaned up and marketed on social media. All the while, I check out new music because it is one of my hobbies. New musicians give me hope that art will become less corporate.... Ah, well...we can dream, right? My newest obsessions are: Marcus King Band - Marcus is only 26 and talented way beyond his years. Blues/Country crossover that puts most to shame and a Carolina boy to boot. Goodbye Carolina - Marcus King / The Opry Rita Is Gone - Marcus King Band / Jam In The Van Goodtime Charlie's Got The Blues - Marcus King / Carter Vintage Guitars Billy Strings - Hailing from Lansing Michigan and only 29. Bluegrass never had a shining star like this hit so hard at so young, since Doc Watson, and a voice like Hank Williams Sr....A crooner who can flat pick Dust In A Baggie - Billy Strings / Live at The Opry Freeborn Man - Billy Strings Don Julin / Fountain Park Summer Concert This Heart of Mine - Billy Strings / Pine Creek Lodge Summertime - Billy Strings and Marcus King Enjoy |

I checked out Billy Strings further to your recommendation. He's really good. If you like contemporary blues music, I recommend Christone "Kingfish" Ingram. He's all of about 22, but, like Marcus King, seems to be a very old soul.
